Good information but missing basic features

I do commend these people for giving out so much information in their videos.However, that only does so much. I still am alone with my phone far too often and even with all this knowledge it hasn’t really worked for me. At all really. Every quit porn app I find tries to do all these strategies and meditations and stuff and that’s good, but all I really need is a website blocker that isn’t going to cost me $80-$200 a year. I can’t find any. It seems no one actually cares about helping people quit unless they get paid handsomely for it. It’s a basic website blocker. It would be so easy for fortify to add this yet when I reached out to them they insisted they were the best I could get. Well I’ve had this app 9 months now and haven’t had more than 4 days free from porn. It does not work for me. A good 80% of their strategies do not work for me. Brain buddy is no better.

I’m a behavioral health nurse. I’m not addicted to porn but I got involved in a support group of young women who are.... I have my own sexual addiction and this group is where I get my support to overcome. One of them suggested this app and though it’s not specific to my addiction I’ve been impressed with how many coping skills it uses. As someone who’s been studying porn addiction for about six years, I would really recommend this app!

There are SO MANY good things about Fortify, but I especially have to shout out the community. The internet can be a toxic wasteland sometimes, but everyone in the Fortify community is so welcoming, encouraging, and wonderful. It has become one of the bright spots in my life and I’m so grateful for it.

I’ve only had this app for a few days and I really like it so far. It has all the tools you need to help you recover from pornography. Whether this app was recommended to you by someone helping you recover or you’re looking for an app to help yourself recover on your own, this is the app for you. For teenagers, they give you the chance to use the app for free if you write a small essay about why and how this app can be helpful to you. Be able to use the app free as a teenager is all thanks to the loyal app users who are paying for a premium subscription!
