Unstable game (repetitive crashes) and poor customer service

The concept seems good, but gameplay, game build, and “customer support” are subpar. I’d been playing for a couple of days and suddenly the game started constantly lagging, crashing, and repetitively logging me out after a couple of minutes. I reached out to player support and explained the issues—and my resolution attempts—in great detail, yet the response I received was oblivious and offered NO actual support or resolution. I signed up/in using gamecenter, which somehow impedes comprehensible support and/or workable solutions?! Since I hadn’t “secured” my account with an email (e.g. provided a meaningless marketing tool and privacy exploit for this company), I was told I could only be offered solutions and or resolution with a secured account. This begs the question, “What’s the point of offering gamecenter access if it undermines issue resolution and competent, solution-oriented customer service?? Whatever the case, I was offered no helpful or immediate troubleshooting options or solutions and the rep mindlessly implied I needed to uninstall/reinstall to make sure I had the most updated game version, even though I’d only been playing a couple of days (and aren’t updates automatic?!). Of course, regardless of having access via the gamecenter, I would lose all of my info/history without a “secured” account. I responded with much of the above and received no further response. I’ve also deleted the game and will venture elsewhere for my entertainment. I recommend that you do the same as, even when the game is issue free, the gameplay is achingly slow and relatively boring (obviously to inspire $$ input).

I love this game been playing for about 5 years, Never had a real issue with my game play and I recommend this game for all ages. Your never going to find a unique gaming experience like Forge of Empires,

Diamonds too expensive

Make your diamonds cheaper, been using this game for almost 3 years but never bought diamonds cause it’s not worth it. 60 for $1

Wait times for construction are bit to long, writing is vary small. Need to purchase land faster. But not a bad game.

Communication needs improvement

Overall good game daily quests are good graphics are decent playability also good. Chat is non existent you have to create a thread to communicate there is no guild chat or global chat which makes trading with guild members a little difficult as well as being able to discuss strategy and such for events are also difficult could be a solid 4+ star game but for now I give it a 2 will re-evaluate if communication issues are resolved or at least improved

Where’s customer support?

Game is not correctly distributing rewards in current event, but there’s nowhere in the game to contact support or developers. It has only has help pages which don’t open.

I should have read the reviews first... at least before spending actual money. The customer service attitude seems a little “meh.” I especially love the ‘copy and paste’ response from developers - that doesn’t work. This was a little fun at first, but the game play is lagging and is almost entirely dependent upon player spending - which I’m feeling a little ‘meh’ about.

Cannot access it after one day of play

On my second day of playing, an ad took over the screen to buy diamonds at a reduced price. I clicked the X at the top right, and the app froze with an endless spinner. I shut it down, logged back in, and the same ad popped up. Again, I clicked the X at the top right, and the app froze with an endless spinner. Guess I won’t be playing FOE ever again.
