Doesn’t work force crash on iOS 11 and force crashes on multiple devices from IPhone X to older iPads.
The app crashes when I try to open it. I really want to try this with my new Expedition. Is there a fix coming?
Does not work. App constantly crashes! Will not open. Just bought a 2018 expedition platinum with headrest TVs. Need this app to stream iTunes movies. Right now they are pointless and a waste of money for all Apple users.
Need fix from Ford ASAP. 2018 Expedition has dual headrest entertainment system and at $1500 would not have purchase system if unable to stream content from Apple mobile devices.
I was ready to leave a scathing review on the app crashing on my shinny new iPhone! However customer service put me at ease by explaining their team has submitted a fix for the “deployment issue” and the workaround of using Lincoln play app has worked for me. Review using Lincoln app: I must say if the Ford app is like the Lincoln app they have a winner! This system does so much more than I expected! Word of advice; read the manual! It is payed out nicely and has a lot of great information. I was a bit annoyed that I could not watch my iTunes movies through the app wirelessly, however these movies are apple protected so the use of an hdmi cable is needed. Lucky the system supports this! Maybe a future update will allow for this. I am a little uneasy leaving five stars when this app is not technically working, but I will give benefit of the doubt since the Lincoln one works and customer service was so helpful. I will update my review if anything changes.
The app still crashes after recent update when phone is plugged in via USB port. The app has been fixed as a stand-alone device. However it crashes instantly when the phone is plugged in via USB port to gain access to the app link feature on the center console.
