These flashcards, combined with Wildman's Wild Edibles Full, make an excellent learning tool at home or in the field. The full-screen pictures are combined with information about the plant and even preparation advice on the flip side.

Nice but....

Crashes each time I move to next card. So I constantly have to reopen the app to move on to the next plant.

Good, but word of warning...

I bought this and the summer flashcards. This set has 55 plants, 33 of which are covered in the summer app. If you want to pick one or the other, spring has more unique plants (22 compared to 13), and summer has more nuts and fruits. The app itself is great, no problems crashing. I learned all the plant's names in about 3 sittings. This does not tell you how to harvest or what parts of the plant are edible, but his Wild Edibles app does a great job with that. I'm sure these plants can be found all over, but they seem to focus more on plants found in the NE, whereas I live in a more dry region. It would be awesome if you guys added more types of quizzes with more pictures for each plant, maybe a leaf or flower macro!
