Outstanding

ThirdWorldQuarantine

The only game that rivals this is $6 and I don't even think its as good. Soccer Manager is clearly the best sport manager out there and for only 99 cents. Not only does the actually manager keep trading and buying players easy, but it allows you to customize leagues, teams, and even individual players. Easy, fun, strategic, cheap, perfect.

Awesome game

surfsoccer

This game is the most addicting games on my Ipod. From the day I got it, I haven't been able to put it down. The layout of the game is fantastic, and the games are perfect. For 99 cents this game is a 5 star.

Highly addictive

Simple where it needs to be, complex where it should be. While it lacks some typical game details in this category, such as stadium management and staff, it's very complete for the format and price. Best of its kind out there currently. A few bugs on occasion, but nothing too terrible. Improvements from 1.03 to 1.04 were also significant and show they're headed in the right direction.

Great game

Armchair GM's Rejoice

Having played Soccer Manager, MYFC and World Football Manager 2009, this one is by far my favorite. The interface is clean, logical and well set up. Kudos on the tips that are unobtrusively displayed while world events and matches are simulated. They are really helpful and allow you to actually learn the game. All the basics of a GM are well covered - financial management, player development, transfers, scouting, and game day. The game day management is much better than the other football sims - as the match progresses you can see how your players are doing (1-10), how fatigued they are, and you can watch a running commentary. Another screen shows on game day shows you ongiong possession, territory, shots, and other useful information. You can pause anytime to make substitutions, change your teams' agression, formation, and attack/defense. For example, if you're behind and need a goal, pause the game, ramp up your attack and agression, change your formation to sub in an attacker and try to get that last minute goal. The email system is another great feature - game events are communicated to you via email in an interface much like the iphone's own email system - you can even swipe to delete. Finally, I really like the fact that there is a hidden stat for players called form. Very skilled players who aren't on form may underperform. You can indirectly guage by gameplay performance, your scouts will only recommend players with good form, and you can improve form through training. I could go on, but really if you are interested in GM games at all, this one is currently the best.

Tomas Nagys

Great game 9 out of 10 ... would love to see more leagues to be added such as Russian, Lithuanian league and etc. Can't wait for you to create such a manager game for Basketball and I am not talking NBA ... I would love to see European Basketball manager game ... thanks

Excellent.....but!

Daehwan

Every names of player and team are misspelled so it's hard to find the name of the player.

Addictive....but....

RaCisT

It's great that i can play Football Manager from ipod touch, but the spellings are somewhat incorrect! Although there is a part where i can change the names of the players. It still is hard to change ALL of the names... So, i will give 3, because of the spelling

Not bad, must have for football fans

The game is fun but transfers and finding the right players can be difficult. Player ratings are a bit off and sometimes buying players from bigger clubs is hard. However, these are the only major flaws because even though names are spelled wrong, if you know the game it's quiet easy to change. The game is great if you can get past those two problems it is a must have for fans of football. Updates are great as well so bugs are usually fixed quickly. Great game all around.
