A little confusing but great concept

tam512

Great concept but multiple aspects of the app were a little confusing like having to add your birthday but it wouldn't let me choose the month until the last step, not a big deal just a little weird. I think it took awhile to load things as well and needs to look more modern if you want to reach younger demographic.

Nice!

Lindsgee

Very helpful. I really like knowing all of the information and there is a good amount of food to look up as well. The scanner is really helpful as well!

Very helpful

This app really helped me to understand what I was eating, and to help make my meals more proportional. I would recommend to friends 10/10

THIS APP??

This app worked so well! I really didn't think I was going to use it as much as I did. Definitely would recommend to a friend!

Please fix

Mbey32

Every time I tried to scan or search a food item nothing would happen and then I would get an error saying http error. Please fix this. I love the concept of the app. Too bad I can't use it!!!!

Informative and convenient!

I love this app! So easy to use and contains so much information about all different foods! It's extremely helpful to be able to search a specific item and be able to see how many calories and other health facts about it. Definitely my favorite part. Highly recommend!

Eye-Opening, Useful, and Improving

This app is powerful in that it lets you quickly look up a food's grade, nutrition facts, and ingredients of packaged foods with a quick and simple scan of their barcodes. Info on popular fast foods can also be browsed within the app. If the app lacks info on a food, you can try to submit package photos to an email address given in the app but you have to exit the app to do this. Also, there's no clear way to add information about a food that isn't in their database. This app looks like it has a good future ahead of it, if it continues to receive new users and development.

Great premise, but...

We downloaded this app, and were testing it out with products we have at home. On certified vegan items, the app was saying there were animal products in it. This happened with four products that we tried, and that was our limit. It may be good for some things, but you really need to approach this with caution.

In-necessary personal information

Aridzona

In order to use the app, you need to enter sex, DOB, weight, height, etc. The vendor doesn't state the purpose for this information, how it will be used by the vendor, nor how the data will be protected.

Needs to have Filtering Capability

Dr. Panda's account

I input my food allergies and health issues. Then I 'browsed products'. Instead of filtering out the items that would be harmful, I had to scroll through page after page of items with the red slash. Most of the items without the red slash were rated as 'F' or 'D-'. This would be a GREAT app if you could sort items by how good they would be for your particular allergens and health issues instead of just an A to Z list. Definitely not worth the $1.99 a month to see the foods that are 'best' for you.
