Stupid and pointless

The owner and CEO is a total con artist and weirdo. He is trying to create an app to fight telemarketers. Which haven’t really existed for anyone under the age or 75. Don’t download, you’ll just get a headache.
Local private number at a good price

I’ve enjoyed using this app for awhile now, had a few questions & their customer support was quick to answer them. Even called me on Christmas Eve to follow-up with me.
Don't rely on this app for business

12/28/17 quit responding to messages with lies, no one ever called about the issue I had 3 days ago, rather, I received an email once again, apologizing because they had to do some “updates” on my account. So don’t say your platform was working cause clearly I had an issue. The new issue is that Flyp no longer saves correct contacts, it transfer the number portion, once it’s has been added to your contact list, so when people call I only see a number instead of a name on the caller ID, this issue email was sent last week still no one has told me why it’s doing that.I will keep updating this review every time I get a problem which effects my business. **** update review***the app wasn’t sending messages I signed and can no longer sign back in due to “ time out” when entering the verification send bad part is that I don’t even have time to enter before it kicks me out... it’s the end of he month the time when customer will call me on their way to closing... once again this crappy app let me down and no one is able to help me out cause there is no human being available on the phone... it’s on my goals for 2018 change phone numbers**** DO NOT BUT THIS LOUSY a service you will regret** after my review below someone Called and left a message I got excited thinking it was real help.. lol when called back of course no one answers..is a lousy voicemail from a what it appear a personal number**** I am a loan officer therefore i need a second line...opted to get another number instead of another phone.. I thought this app was Ready for providing services to folks who need an additional number for business. It has been 6 months, I've never had to send so many emails asking for help. Among several issues, such as " not been able to hear voicemails" texts won't come across correct" "PR numbers, you can't dial- it only goes thru if that person has previously texted so you can click and call from that window" delayed notifications", these are just some of the many bugs.. Today I received a notification to have it updated within the app. When I click on it there was not an update, according to the App Store. I am not able to use the app because the notification won't go away. Of course it's a Monday and Flyp doesn't offer IT help. Now that my number has been printed on business card it is hard to make a switch- Conclusion, unless they invest money, this app will be crappy and only good for personal use.... you better off finding a more reputable company which offers services for your business -Even if it costs more, trust me you better off. Update, as of today my clients are no longer receiving my texts. This the th worse app ever. The IT folks don't even help, they are useless, the solution to all is " hi please upload to the new version" if you read my whole review you know why that response makes me even more frustrated. It's must be a way to carry my Flyp number to another app. Smdh
Local phone numbers? Not so fast.

I just downloaded and tried to set up this app using 2 different area codes where I work. Neither option offered any local numbers, but rather numbers across the country. Not for me, sorry.
Call problems

So whenever someone calls me while I’m playing music, the phone won’t ring. It will give an alert at the top of my phone screen and the music will lower slightly, but if my phone is on silent I would have to be looking at the screen to know I’m receiving a call. Whenever my phone is locked it will actually ring, but still only an alert on the front of the screen, and the incoming alert times out before it even stops ringing on the calling end. Needless to say I’m missing a lot of calls and texts because of this. I’ve tested this by calling my Flyp number myself from another phone, and sometimes the Flyp app will say there is an incoming call even after I’ve already hung up the call. Also there is no way to change the alert sounds or ringtones to something that might alert me better. Please adjust these issues.

Don’t waste your money. It’s really not worth it. There are better apps that are free that do a way better job than this. It seems there only interested in taking you money.

I love having multiple numbers for each of my businesses all on one phone. I cut down on my expenses significantly by no longer carrying two cell phones and it’s cheaper than adding another line with my mobile carrier.
