Whoever decided that it would be a good idea to not allow people to scrub through a video to preview the clip is an absolute moron. You have to watch the entire video just to check one part. And with one accidental tap it brings you right back to the start of the video and having to watch the video all over again just to check the one section. In conclusion, I would not be using the garbage app if it was not required for my class. Not recommended.

There is not an easier tool for any student of any age or background to use than Flipgrid. So many uses, so powerful, and so easy to get started. I love using Flipgrid to let me students learn from themselves and from each other. Flipgrid helps me students reach a level of meta-cognition that they simply just don’t achieve when relying on only teacher feedback. Thanks Flipgrid!!!

I just downloaded this app and it was awesome to be able to watch my students videos from my phone while in the car! Don’t worry I wasn’t driving!! I hope they make an educator app account now so I can grade them!!

This app has transformed by classroom in so many ways. It allows my students to easily share their thoughts and reflections. My students, who normally don’t share in class are able to show their true self when using Flipgrid. I even had a student who hysterically cried during a previous video project turn in to a Flipgrid Rockstar! She recorded a book talk at home with her dog. I really love everything Flipgrid enables my students to do with their extremely user friendly app.
