Restoring purchases doesn't work?

Emmachette

I still have the huge banner that says to purchase Pro even after I've restored purchases in the settings. I used to love this app, but I'm going to stick with Fastr Pro from now on.

Terrible

Atromus

Doesn't work, and has a daily limit to how many web pages I can add, so before I have the chance to get it working, it locks up and I'm stuck with several useless, unreadable headers of a web page.

Practically un-usable

I really liked this app when I first downloaded it in November--it's not that any in-app features have changed, but rather the app bombards you with so many pop-ups asking you to upgrade to a paid version of the app. The issue I have is that I already upgraded so that I could read more documents than the daily limit. But if you don't upgrade, every time you switch back to the app from looking at another app, the same 'upgrade now' pop-up comes up which blurs out your screen entirely and then when you X out of it, it closes whatever you're reading and sends you back to the home page. When you click back on your document and press "Resume" to get back to the spot you were at in your reading, it never takes you back to the right spot--it's always something like the 10% done point. This can be very obnoxious if you're reading a big document and it'll be next to impossible to find the right spot. In short, the app is free--on condition of suffering a million pop-ups and not being able to use the app at all.

Pdf is what set you apart.

There are tons of other apps that flash read pocket and text. We weren't using the pdf feature because it was buggy. But, it is why we bought this app. We were hoping you were going to fix it.

Great - more backup integration

Hail Galvatron

Awesome app! Difficult to read EBooks on iPhone, but this app makes it very, very easy! Add more back up integration options! I am integrated with other apps, and not so much iCloud

Looks nice but unusable

The app looks great and all but apparently you can't actually read anything but their sample text with the free version

Major issues with pro

MilesL

This app requires an in app purchase to use ePub documents. Unfortunately, it has major reliability issues that renders the app unusable. 1) the app *might* remember where you are in a book. It's rare though-- so, it's fine for the first few chapters, but after that, you need to start from the beginning. 2) if you switch modes or other settings, be prepared to start your book over 3) there is no way to rewind, or see the content around your current word. Miss a sentence? Start from the beginning of the book to see it again. 4) there is no way to fast forward. When the app crashes, or otherwise forgets your place, you have to start from the beginning, and go through every word in order. The interface is decent. And you can import (non-drm) kindle formatted books. I really should not have purchased this :( The app certainly has lots of potential and is reasonably featured, but is currently only usable for short documents.

Corrupt app developers !

New version takes away forces you to pay more for features that were included in the original paid version. Racketeering! Rent seeking! There are some unexpected benefits of using this app in addition to reading at a fast speed... 1.You can comfortably read from a longer distance due to one large word on the screen at a time. 2.never lose your place 3. never need to turn a page 4. No stopping to think before you're completely done reading. It Keeps you from getting distracted. So When i start it up, i set my phone down on the table and drink a cup of coffee while blazing through my reading.

Don't normally write reviews, but...

These guys removed key features from this app that made it good. You used to be able to sync it to your Pocket account. Now? Have to pay $5. Guys—instead of removing historically free features and pissing off your user base, why didn't you think of some cool new features to incentivize people to upgrade? I am now searching for a new solution. Maybe I'll be back. But the UX has become pretty clunky without the Pocket integration and $5 feels like gouging since this feature used to be free.

Unethical developer actions

One year ago I bought this app. It was $4 + tax. Since then it's gone free with in app purchases to restore the former functionality, meaning I'd have to pay more. Additionally, it's been a full year since the iPhone 6 came out, and this app has been updated since then, yet it still doesn't support the 6/6+/6S/6S+.
