Using the app for a cab is terrible they are always late. I get better service when I just call.

This is definitely my go to when I need a cab, wherever I am. I have used these guys for a while, and have always been satisfied with their service. Initially there were problems with the app, as with most new systems. However, that was just a tech problem. Ive continued to be a loyal customer with good reason, which is why I just used the dispatch instead since they have always still been a great company with true and reliable service. I recently tried this app again after seeing that they updated it, and couldn't be more pleased! They really fixed this app so now I have options in how I can use this great service. It works smoothly and has available cabs for me whenever I need them. Thanks for adapting and always continuing to please Flash!

Takes a long time

In comparison to Uber it takes +10 min for a driver to accept to take a ride. This is too long considering you will have to wait another 10 for them to come get you. I do like the interface of the app and think it is better curb but the response time needs to be faster if the app is ever going to take off.

If zero was an option I'd choose that. I have written maybe 5 reviews ever for apps and the garbage service I've received made me write this one. I scheduled a cab for a 2.5 mile ride over 4 times because they kept taking 20 minutes to "find a driver". If you have anywhere to go that's time sensitive never use this app. You're better off with Lyft or Uber.

Completely unreliable

Terrible app. I'm able to successfully schedule a pickup about 1 out of every 5 tries. Orders are mysteriously canceled, I'll wait at the "waiting for driver to be assigned" page indefinitely with no progress, or a driver will be assigned and be 15-20 minutes away (at the pick-up time) or drive away from the pick-up location. The "cab is X minutes away screen" is never accurate. Cab drivers love to complain about Uber, but Uber is infinitely more reliable.

Log into the app; it says "the closest taxi to you is 2 mins away". Place the order; "your taxi will arrive in 8 mins." What is that? Yes, the taxi arrives eventually, but in 8 mins I can flag a taxi off the street. Otherwise, Flash Cab is generally the better choice of all the Chicago cab companies.

I was very excited about the new app and the opportunity to hail my cabs via this; however, upon usage there is frequent stalling, inaccurate wait times, delayed calls/notifications, and a poor estimate of fare pricing. I call this a farce because I tend to need this app frequently due to a lack of desire to use one of the rideshare apps. The emotional roller coaster with this app is hilarious. When it's a good day, it's great... when it's a bad day... boy are the frustrations real. Regardless of the app's shortcomings, flash cab is great.

Can’t even register

When I try to register the app resets. Can’t even create an account to use it. As soon as I get a code and try to type it in the app is reset to the home screen and I have tried multiple times.

Cannot pay while already in cab

The app only allows you to hail a taxi, not pay for the one you’re already in. Pointless, we already have Uber.
