As a new user to iOS I was becoming very frustrated with Apple’s weak Music app and it’s need to be tethered to iTunes on your desktop if you hope to play your MP3s. I turned to the App Store for another app capable of playing mp3 files and became even more frustrated with the slew of apps that prioritize spamming ads more than anything else. Just as I about gave up I found Flacbox and it’s literally everything I ever wanted the native Music app to be. I can easily download an mp3 from a site and play it in Flacbox or access my library from my Dropbox. If I could give the Flacbox devs a tip and a big smooch I would. 5/5 bless you Flacbox.

The app has tons of potential, but sadly falls short of expectations. I tried loading my library from an smb share and the app appears to find all the files, but the Album view hangs @56 with incomplete tracks in each album every time. There are ~19500 flac files in my library with ~1000+ albums. No problems loading my library with Kodi from a pi, or Yamaha receiver. It’s the app ?

Superb. My old fave music equalizer/ organizer was Tuneshell, no longer available in u.s. I’d pay for Flacbox, but I don’t know how.

I’ve been looking for an app I could listen to my music without having to be online. It is so easy to use it literally took me 15 mins to put all my favorite songs in it! I would101% recommend this app! ????????????

I gladly paid $2.99 to have an app that can stream from a cloud service, but my favorite feature is that I sent .flac files to my phone via airdrop and they automatically showed up in Flacbox! I was trying out Vox but I don’t want another subscription service. The first time I used airdrop the files opened in Vox so I deleted the app. Tried again and iOS prompted me to pick an app with which to open the files. Subsequently every transfer has opened automatically in Flacbox. Also, I don’t think sending folders works. You have to “select all” the tracks in al album and send them that way. Suggestions: On the playback screen, where you can tap the EQ icon, for example, you have to tap outside the EQ box to close it but tapping again on the EQ icon won’t close it. Please fix that! Thanks so much Flacbox maker!!!

Easy to drop a file in just use computer to drop file on cloud storage and download it in app. That's all you have to do ;)

To dev, great job on the visual asthetics of this app! Two issues I'm having would allow me to make it perfect. 1. Allow us to import playlists from iTunes/Apple Music Player. 2. Fix the issue with the controls on some BT headphones (sometimes they can pause/play & sometimes not at all). Otherwise, my go-to Music App!
