Love the App.

With the new health metrics it really lets me know what’s going on while I’m sleeping.

I’ve figured out the reasoning behind my issue. Although I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t update it. I went to look for it in the app and setting and there was no option. Even when I hit check for updates it would say that it’s update already BUT then when I was to customize my watch it would tell me to update it first.

Update fail

The latest update doesn’t work at all. I’m so disappointed

Needs Dark Mode

As most people, I am in the unfortunate habit of checking my phone first thing in the morning. Bright white screen is painful and dark mode is available in everything on my phone except the Fitbit app. This should be easy but Fitbit refuses.

I’m still unhappy because it took over 3 months for Fitbit to fix a firmware issue (dropped run and bikes) from February through May. I called the Fitbit help number many times. Never receiving any answer other than we are working it. I did not like the fact the these help centers are out sourced. And that there was complete refusal by these employees to transfer me to the states were I might be able to receive a higher level of help.

You need an update

AppMonkey54

Recently, it has stopped giving readings. Sleep, food entries, heart rate... it totally skipped a day on my calendar. I have to open twice to refresh it. Please update

Please fix this 11-2-20

My app has stopped syncing to my Fitbit charge2. How can I fix this? Can you fix this? I’ve read a few comments regarding others that have experienced the same problem

Great App, 1 glitch + 2 annoyances

stxrrysouls

I really like the Fitbit app. I have the Fitbit flex 2 because I don’t like the look of a big fancy smart watch, and the flex 2 is thin and discreet. Of course, it doesn’t have a screen, so I do have to rely on the app to see all of my stats. I like that Fitbit replaces a food tracker, sleep tracker, water tracker and pedometer for me. (There’s also a lot of other features that I don’t use, but are still high quality, like the period tracker.) I have some sleep disorders, so the sleep tracker is very important for me, and it has always worked really well up until last night. I’m not the best at math, but I knew that 10:40-7:02 didn’t sound like 7.5 hours. I did the math, and sure enough, it’s leaving off an hour in the calculation. It’s accounting for the correct hours but its calculating it wrong. Very annoying. Another change I would like to see is with counting nutrients in the food tracker. It is certainly an option, but whenever I plug in a supplement (vitamins, calcium pills, even powder drink mixes,) all the nutrients are at 0. There is no option for me to edit this either. I understand that Fitbit wants to focus on macros, but there should at least be options for people who want to account for vitamins and minerals. The other problem I have is the the auto-tracker for workouts rarely kicks in. I usually have to initiate the tracker, but I can only do so for a walk or run. The auto-tracker only kicks in for me when I’m NOT working out, like when I’m cooking or playing with my dogs. I hope these changes are implemented. I really like this app and use it often, so these issues really affect me.

Down Hill

Flustered1234

Update: As someone who has been with Fitbit for 6 years (with their most expensive models to boot), I am very disappointed! Sleep tracking logic is blatantly erroneous & clearly Fitbit folks do not care to fix it... maybe they are just bad at math, but either way the software is infuriatingly off 90% of the time. Makes me question all data from my Fitbit. I think it is time for this loyal customer to switch to a competitor who is better at software & algorithms! App has gone down hill. Sleep score is nonsense & Sleep algorithm is a fail - it tacks on awake time after you wake up every single day! If you edit it, it mangles the rest of your sleep data. Woke up at 8:11 with 6h32m of sleep, but the app makes it 8:17.... ok, I can edit that awake time off, right? Well not quite, by subtracting 6 minutes awake time (via edit sleep log option) the algorithm somehow makes my sleep time go to 6h23m & my awake time instead increases from 37 to 40 minutes! This happens every day & makes their scoring/data utterly worthless. What other data are their algorithms is it mangling? The algorithm needs to be re-evaluated as it seems to have gotten worse in recent years!

Rookie design mistakes

Reallywantedit

Fire the rookie designer that added all the white space to the app views, it’s worst in the heart rate screen, ironically in one of your latest screenshots shows it. It’s a rookie mistake because the spacious empty space looks fabulous in Sketch when showing designs off but in UX terms is super lame, I’ve gone from being able to see at a glance trends for over 1.5 weeks to not even being able to see 1 week on my nice large screen. The last few iterations have gotten worse and this by far is the most infuriating.
