Too many ads for dead fish

I tried this game for a couple of days to see if I’d like it, and as of 5 minutes ago I deleted it. Each supply, upgrade, and research costs hundreds to thousands of coins while the fish you sell only go for 10-30 coins. The game supplements this by giving you the option to watch a video for around 50 coins. This, however, is nowhere near enough to keep up with the needs of your fish, especially the rarer they are. Without upgrades and research your fish die. I’d go to bed one night with a bunch of new rare fish and wake up to a bunch of dead ones because “the environment” could not support them. In other words, if you don’t want to watch 20 ads in a row don’t download this game.

I really love time management games but a lot of them are so predictable. Fish tycoon gives you many options to try and find your fish and the missions are do-able. I like that there are options to get the coins and gems you need without buying them. Good job!

Only problem I have is how long it takes for everything like it’s about an hour or two for the fish to give birth than a couple hours till the babies are old enough to breed it gets boring pretty fast because of that and is hard to consistently play the waiting time should be cut down to a few minutes instead of waiting hours

This is a great game but progress becomes stagnant when you get moving but still haven’t found all the fish. I have done all the possible upgrades I can. I wish I could increase the length of time that employee tells customers of the sales. I wish I could get gems a bit quicker since another tank is 1K gems, and some of the required challenge items are 300gems. I’m starting to get board. Almost all the magic fish I found were from eggs, and were born. I also would like arrows when in the species menu so I can go from fish to fish without closing it so I can compare their genes. The game could be improved by having regular updates, and new content. I would love new challenges, new content. I would love to do just a bit more and make it more game like. Quests, goals, challenges, more stuff to buy. I love this game but I wish there was more once you bought everything but didn’t find all the fish yet.

This game is fun and all but the in app purchases are all a little pricy I know I’m not the only one that agrees but they are expensive for a very little amount of stuff

There’s thousands and thousands of dollars required to have rare fish survive in your tanks. $5000 for JUST a filter??? You’d best hope you don’t accidentally breed two fish and end up with rare babies. They’ll die unless you watch a bunch of 30 second ads that only give you 50 coins each. It would take half an hour worth of ads to earn $3000 coins. Now, the $5000 filter is not the only thing you need to have rare fish. You need to buy the $1,500 environment research and then up it to the next level which is another $5000. What in the world is with that price hike???? THEN you can have rare fish. The only reason why I’m complaining about this is because it’s so outrageously priced compared to other parts of the game. Normally buying a new fish tank is one of the most expensive expansions you can add to your experience. However, a new tank is only $1,200. But then, after buying a new tank, to get the third tank after that, it costs ONE THOUSAND GEMS!!!! However, you do gain the 3rd fish tank for free if you go through the calendar rewards every single day for 30 days. I waited until now to edit this review and say this because I was unsure that the 3rd tank would actually be free on the last day. For all I know, it could have just been available now for a discount. Now, the developers absolutely didn’t have to do this for its community. They could have certainly kept it at 1000 gems or $20 bucks without regard to coming up with a way to retrieve it for free. While waiting 30 days for a free tank is rather outrageous when it comes to just earning a new tank, I’m glad any way to retrieve the tank for free was available at all. However, because 30 days is a bit outrageous, I’m giving it three stars. Along with other things that could be improved for the betterment of the game. Also, stop giving anti fungal medicine as a reward in the quests. It’s literally only 40 coins to get some anti fungal medicine in the store. That’s hardly a reward, especially for what you’re asking us to do. Find twelve new species of fish??? For anti fungal medicine? Are you serious? I literally have 12 bottles of this stuff already (never bought any) and have only ever cured 2 fish that needed some. Why not give rewards that we otherwise wouldn’t be able to get easily ourselves? Especially for your free members who don’t want to pay money for certain aspects of the game. The decorations for rewards are nice I guess but they don’t really help much when it comes to progressing the game. I’m also at a point in the rewards where I can progress no further unless I watch a ton of ads. I have 244 gems from completing rewards (I never spent any) and I’ve gotten to where I need to buy the plant of incubation, which is 300 gems, and I don’t have it. I spend 300 gems and get 5 gems back. GREAT. I’m back at square one with only 5 gems to my name. I think a feature should be added similar to being able to pause the game in a half hour, an hour, and 2 hours. Yes, developers, I already know that pausing the game is a function that is included. I’m talking about having a function similar to having the game automatically PAUSE ITSELF in an allocated amount of time, that way in case you forget to hit the pause button, your fish won’t die. There should also be a feature that allows coins to be turned into gems through exchange. Like 1000 coins is one gem, or something. To make it easier on the community to progress without dedicating hours to ads or sacrificing real money.

The everyday prize always stops at day 19 and then goes back to day 1. Game will never give free prizes for the full 30 days. Game does not always keep proper track of quantity of fish in the tanks. I have to hit the sell fish button and then immediately go back to my tanks to see the correct number of fish that are in each tank.

Love to play this with my granddaughter. Teaches delaying gratification, planning, and attention to detail. Who knew that could be fun? ?
