Accurate with great maps!

Very reliable data with easy to see maps. I love the color satellite maps. They are updated daily at a minimum. In the spring I could make out areas that had an abundance of green growth, as well as areas of the mountains still covered in snow. If a fire has a significant smoke impact, that is also visible on the satellite map. Details include cause of fire when known and size and containment percentages. Highly recommend this app!

Loved this app last summer it worked great, but now it won’t even load active fires... highly disappointed

Drove across America and used this APP everyday everywhere to plan our driving and camping. We didn’t want to go to areas that had crowding from people running for their lives and consume their stores supplies and camping spots. Definitely a useful tool for road tripping. Don’t want to drive into an oven. Be safe.

The glowing report I wrote below no longer applies. Very sorry. The app no longer works and I can not contact the developers. I will be using some replacements I have found that actually work! I am in Redding, CA going through the Carr Fire, which is Plume driven and exploding erratically. As this fire is so unpredictable, this app is a godsend, making it possible to see how the beast is spreading. I have other fire apps, but none I have ever seen can compare to this! This is by far the best, by leaps and bounds. Thanks, guys

I can’t get anything to load which would be very dangerous as I am in a big fire zone. If I couldn’t get the data in time it could prove lethal. Shows me a nicely constructed map and a spinny progress bar that never finishes loading. No fire data at all. I hope they can fix this. Until then, I’ll be using a different app.

The Cal Fire link is non-functional

There is a fire burning near me at this moment, and I can’t get the cal fire link to work. The other links show nothing near me. This is a fast moving fire and growing thanks to Santa Ana winds. Maybe a good app for other places, but the San Diego are? Not so much—
