This app keeps getting better and better! I like that it has now separated the fires into prescribed fires and wildfires, all of the info about each fire, and now I’m loving being able to see all of the pictures taken at each fire! It’s great to see the firefighters working hard and getting the job done. So great to see the great work these brave people do. ?

This app kept us safe on 101 in CA during all these fires. Had to reinstall it once as it went wonky, flipping images upside down and sideways. Seems ok now. Would like to know what the side buttons do and can’t find the color legend promised. Definitely a good app to have.
Awesome update
I’m going to the info section like it says but I can’t do any in-app purchases. I tappity-tap-tap everywhere but it never initiates a purchase.

I like just below South Lake Tahoe. This is my Go 2 application for monitoring in real time what’s burning. CalFire are our Heroes along with local Fire Departments. When ever I cross paths with them when they are not in the fight, I thank them for their service.

I guess I’m just dumb but I wanted an app that just opens a map that shows active fires and smoke plumes and drifts. This makes me choose among different sources assuming I know what they are by name. It also shows old fires. Months old that are no longer in any way active. Deleted.

This app provides several updates per day on a wildfire’s status and the plans on how they will work to distinguish.

I used this app for a few months with confidence until a week or so ago when the large incidents view went blank. Unfortunately, I can’t even see the large fire 50 miles away from me in Oregon in any view so this has definitely undermined my confidence in the app. It’s wildfires. I’m in Oregon. If you only report some of the fires the app is useless and dangerous to depend upon. Please fix this and let us know when you have. Until then I’m deleting it. Bummer.

First thing I look at after waking. Fire season is pretty much year-round now in ca. We find this app very valuable. We have family across the US, this helps us know of threats they could be facing. Excellent mapping as well. Many uses.

As the emergency manager for a city in Northern California I use this app for situational awareness. Clean interface and easy to use.
