I happy to see that I can finally add search engines like startpage to Focus.

Privacy. Very smooth and simple.

Don’t see the big deal here. All browsers have a private mode so why you need a private mode only browser like Focus is beyond me? Another browser for those browser junkies and tin foil hat users. It does what it’s suppose too I guess if your set on being as private as possible. Also I did notice no ability to hold back arrow to get list of previous sties? Part of the obsession with erasing your tracks I guess.

This is a great app. I love the Approach to privacy. No one asked for data to be collected on them while on the internet. Also being bombarded with Ads. Great work in getting all the distractions out of the way so one can get to the meat of what they’re doing.

FIVE MASSIVE STARS FOR: * Free * iPhone Safari ads no longer hijack and disrupt streaming to Apple TV (music etc) CONS: * Could really use a whitelist -> send to whitelist from Safari feature request ?!!! * Disabling is finicky (Minus one star from iOS/Safari)

I am giving this app in middle of the road review. As a browser it is fast, agile and great to use. With respect to privacy...that is where this product is deceitful. I validated transmission to Firefox data warehouses and even though browser history is deleted, site caching is retained.
