Game is f2p friendly, but game is nothing more than extremely repetitive gameplay where the true fun is only in spawning the hero you want to obtain. Another issue is increasing power creep and the stat advantage female heroes have over males (the females have higher/more useful stats/skills over the males). The main cast of the plot is also generic and boring with anime quirks.

Fire Emblem Heroes is a great game, I’ve played since launch and am still playing and am enjoying the game, but there are flaws. 1. Rates. Okay normal 5 star pools being 3% is okay (don’t get me wrong it could be better) but my real issue here is legendary banners. The 8% is cancelled out because there are so little 5 stars to pull. So the rate being maybe 10 or 15% would work in my opinion. 2. Alternative characters Okay Seasonal characters are fine but when we get to the point of having 5 Lyns, yeah FIVE LYNS, there is obviously an issue. For example, we have gotten these characters from fates this year. NY, Camilla, Azura, Takumi, and Corrin. Flying Hinoka, Shigure, Kana and Kana. Summer Camilla and Takumi. Spring Kagero and Evil Takumi. Overall we have gotten 2 brand new fates characters this YEAR. We have more Takumis than original fates units! (I am not counting Shigure because he had his Preforming Arts alt) I think you can see the problem. 3 The story The difficulty to beat the story is getting more and more difficult as more characters become more and more useless. For example, Lukas, my first 5 star unit was amazing in the story back last year but now? He is the first to die if I even try to do lunatic with him (I don’t use him anymore, I have better units) but power creep is real and if IS doesn’t realize that, their game is going to burn out. 4 Blessed Gardens They’re too difficult. I think we all know that. Overall, it’s a good game and recommend it, just note these flaws will be there.
Gacha rates...

Games game and fun to play and some nice new things add to the game, but the gacha rates...no. Before it wasn’t much a problem, nowadays yes, why bc end game of collecting or grinding orbs is rough. Saved about 150 orbs, went all out on one of the special banner, (I don’t ask much but at least 1 of the new limited time characters out of the 3 or 4), none, nothing, just a random 5* that can be easily obtain from a 4* character and evolve it to a 5*. Got greedy $100 worth of orbs drop into the game, same banner....not 1 limited characters pulled. I’m not even asking for a specific one, I just want anyone random 1 limited time character....sigh. It’s gacha if you want your something go spend more..., nope not happening don’t throwing money at FEH.
I Truly LOVE This Game, But...

As I said in my last review, this is honestly one of my favorite games, but recently, for the banner, “A Sketchy Summer”, I still have not gotten a five star, or a 5 star focus, (I only want Summer Camilla or Summer Takumi) and the percent of getting one is up by 4.75% already. But, when I go to summon on a colorless stone (trying for Takumi) it’s always a three star (btw, I’ve gotten at least 5 or more three stars from colorless), and it’s rarely ever a four star. I’m kind of shocked and mad that I keep getting three stars from this specific banner, when the percentage is currently 4.75%. For example, when I went to summon on the banner this morning, (about an hour ago) I summoned on a colorless stone, and I basically predicted that the hero was going to be a three star, and, of course my prediction was right! (It was a three star Sakura). Look, I love this game to pieces, but this is kind of absurd that I haven’t gotten a five star when the percent is at 4.75%... But, even if I don’t get my Summer Takumi, I’ll still love this game, and as I stated before, it’s honestly one of my favorite games that I have on my phone. ;)
