There is hardly anything that fin can't do. Fin is your cool friend, your diligent assistant, your motivator and so much more all rolled into one

fin keeps me on top of all of my work and personal todos. it also helps me find great stuff I would have otherwise totally missed

Fin is part of the "slow company" movement, which positions it for an alternative go-to-market strategy from your traditional VC backed hype-app. That's reflected in their pricing strategy. This thing is EXPENSIVE. But the pricing acts as a signal to the kind of value this digital assistant brings to the table, subsequently signaling the complexity of queries you should submit. I've used it to schedule doctors appointments, transcribe voice memos, help me vet software solutions—really sophisticated stuff. I suspect the costs for delivering this level of sophistication is astronomical, but that those costs will come down in time. I don't know that I can afford this, but the value is definitely there for those who know how to use it.

The fierce commitment to getting the features right and building the app with user input is refreshing. A clear vision that continues to become more clear with each release

This app combines backend automation and real people to provide a paradigm shift in the availability of “personal assistants” to regular people, who may not have the time or money to invest in finding and retaining a trusted and reliable personal assistant. It’s a bit pricy, but if your time is worth money, it’s a no-brainer.

As a service to keep track of what’s going on, fin is far less useful than googles existing suite of apps. I’m honestly not sure why I would use it. As a personal assistant service, Fin is extraordinarily expensive for sub-par results. One request, which would cost ~$50 with my own personal assistant and was free as a trial for another va service, cost $150 for fin, with no noticeable difference in results, and no warning of the cost involved. The last time I was caught this off guard was when I tried to use data while roaming.

I got charged $165 by this app after barely using it. It charged me to tell it info about myself and then to do essentially what Siri does. Completely useless. It’s literally cheaper to hire a student to do google searches for you
