promising app

The biggest issue is that my favorite new feature, iCloud syncing (local-only but shared between devices) is iOS-only, since this app is iOS-only. I look forward to a Mac client. And this is petty but I am not a fan of the icon color and an option to change it would be great. Having crazy icon options is one of my favorite features of Carrot Weather and Drafts.

Great app!

I've been toggling between Fiery and Reeder 4 for a while now. Fiery wins out if you're willing to dive into the preferences. Truly a power user's app. It does take commitment though—Reeder is more usable out of the box with a flatter learning curve. Not a knock on Fiery Feeds, just an observation. Still haven't settled on my go-to for RSS, but will continue my subscription as Fiery is certainly worth the support.

Useless

I use direct RSS feeds. I don't use a service and I shouldn't have to. There should be an iCloud option. I read great things about this app, but it does nothing on its own. Uninstalled. Edit: Reinstalled. I heard they added iCloud sync, which a feature missing in most other readers. That gets another star right there.

Yes! Local Feed Management

Alx141

I no longer need an RSS service! I just imported an OPML of all my subscribed feeds (exported from my old RSS Feed service) and I no longer need that RSS service because Fiery Feeds will do all the feed syncing (either entirely local on one device or across multiple devices via iCloud). I’d rather pay a subscription to my RSS-reader developer than to a feed service. And, the addition of a local Read-Later account is perfect and allows robust group/tag organization.

Switching back to Reeder

pbeasi

I originally bought this app because Reeder support had been lacking. It seemed to be ok and I purchased a premium upgrade. But after some of the most recent updates, I’m switching back now that Reeder 4 is out. I’d had things setup the way I liked on my iPad and one of the updates changed things. I mostly was able to find settings to change it back but it was never the same. But for the past few days, Feedbin hasn’t updated at all. I purchased Reeder 4 and couldn’t be happier.

Constant nagging to upgrade

KeyaL28

It’s obnoxious. Daily nags asking me to update to the premium version. I don’t want or need any of those features, so no thanks to that (especially as a monthly subscription). And this in an app I paid for in the first place?!

Great app

JuanBretti

It's great. But some missing features like: • Only sync when on WiFi • One time payment for Premium • Search feature for finding the settings. Don't get me wrong, I love having lots of settings, but sometimes I forget where they are • Send feedback should also work with Gmail or Outlook app • Open in Safari, should also have a very to open in Chrome

Charged me after I canceled subscription

Presto Cadenza

I was trying out a bunch of rss readers, and I clicked to do the free trial of premium. I realized quickly that this app was not what I’m looking for, canceled my subscription to premium features, and deleted the app. Two days later, apple sends me a receipt for $9.99 for automatic renewal of premium? Not cool.

Maybe only app worth “rent” on iOS

Leo of BORG

Fiery Feeds is one of the only apps that I use every day. Something was sorely needed after the demise of Mr. Reader app—- and this is it. The fact that you’re reading this review here means that I’m happily paying a subscription to this dev. FF is well tested (on TestFlight) and very stable. If you need an RSS reader look no further.

All the features, all the updates

scampercom

For a 5-star rating, I only wished for a few things: “mark read on scroll,” and image thumbnails in the article list. (Dark mode and a configurable multi-pane UI were nice-to-haves.) No reader could deliver all these … except, now, for Fiery Feeds. As a bonus, the developer is *constantly* issuing updates, which is always reassuring. Thus, this is the single perfect feed reader.
