After searching for games on my Apple Watch, I came across Field Day. After playing for a few minutes I was completely addicted! While it's a really basic grow-crops-and-sell game, it's very relaxing and is a great time killer. Many of the crops grow within a few minutes so you're not waiting for an hour to sell them. It's also easy to make money from crops to pay for more plots, which you'll definitely need to fulfill orders. My only request for this game is that the full version becomes available on the Apple Watch so I'm able to go to the town and get orders. I'm not a fan of flipping back and forth between my Watch and phone, so this would change my rating to five stars.

I’ve been playing this game since it was the first game to come out on Watch. It’s so disappointing that there still isn’t any new seeds. Once you get to corn you have maxed out. I keep waiting for a new plant and.... nothing.

This game would be a fun little time killer for the Apple Watch if only it worked better. The user interface is mostly intuitive, scrolling with the watch's wheel between farm, orders, and special requests. But the overly simplified design means that I can't see how much I'm going to get from planting particular seeds. Getting even one more plot is so powerful that I'm saving up thousands of coins for just one. And yet I want to do it not because it makes my engine more efficient, but because it'll be easier to estimate if I'm growing the right things. The hitboxes on the watch interface can use some work; I spend an inordinate amount of time tapping the same spot repeatedly, trying to plant a seed, or tapping the lowest of the orders to redeem it and accidentally selecting the thing beneath it instead. And the requests, the best way to upgrade, are only available in the full app, which is counter to the goal of playing a game on my wrist.

I’ve been playing this game since it came out and I have only gotten a new crop from doing mayor job and the new crop needs something special (which I can’t get) to grow it. It’s sooo frustrating that I’m only growing the same crops (carrots, wheat, tomatoes, eggs, milk, and sheep) over and over again. Where are new crops??? There’s slots with ??? on them, but none EVER show up except the one you get from mayor and that one you can’t even sow.

This game needs lots of improvement!!! My friend and I are playing this game and both games (same game) are totally different. I love the game but getting very disappointed!

I wish there was a way to delete a picked task. I have been on a task for like 2 weeks bc the crops are so expensive and they are sold so cheaply. And the daily coins you get are like 50 a day and you can’t buy anything with that. So I’m playing it less and less, I don’t want to delete bc I actually spent real money for coins but I’m about to just throw in the towel with this game all together. It was fun while it lasted. ??♀️

I’m guessing my hardware is too old because the game just doesn’t work on my watch. I have the very first model so I’m guessing it’s just too outdated.

I’ve been playing this for awhile and just get more frustrated. It takes eons of time to earn money as the actual profits on each mission are so low. So I feel like I never make actual progress. I was so excited for a farming game for my watch, but will probably be deleting it.
