Screwed up my computer

Installed app and it worked perfectly but then when I tried to connect to my normal WiFi my computer now won’t connect even though I have internet. I followed the apps instructions and exited out of fetch multiple times and reset my computer but it still won’t work.

Installed and worked with no problem. Great guided installation and a great solution for any carrier without the need for hotspot (I use AT&T and am not paying extra for a hotspot, plus travel a lot and use various carriers in other countries). An excellent solution.

It works as it says it does but all you can do is browse the web in a web browser. It doesn’t let you play any multiplayer games, use ssh, etc. Just browsing the internet. Which, in fact i use ssh daily and i was hoping that since i transfer large files over and over between my laptop and servers i manage that are different platforms that i could just use this instead of my limited hotspot data. i thought wrong. But it would be nice if you guys added this in the future, overall great app! It’s great for watching youtube and netflix with no data cap! saves me tons of money with that feature, if only the others i mentioned worked as well it would be a 5 star from me!

I love how this app enables me to use my phone data plan to create a free, secure wireless connection for my laptop anywhere I have cellular access. It is very risky these days to use insecure public wireless systems.

The good: - I’m able to kind of connect to the internet -I’m able to download files online. - I can use the internet on my computer. The bad -you cannot use your phone at all if you’re using the internet. You can’t open an email, respond to a text, or call someone or you will lose connection immediately. - they say “reopen the app within 3 minutes and you won’t lose connection” nope. Not at all. If I close if for one second I will be offline. - It will kill your phone’s battery cycle and usage since the iPhone can’t be locked. - the Microsoft Store and a few other apps will not open. They look for Ethernet or WiFi and will not load, ever. - if you lose connection you will have to restart the app. It will not reconnect. Unplug the iPhone from the computer, restart the fetch computer app, and relaunch the iPhone app. This will happen if you ever forget and respond to a text. -it will jack up your internet settings. Take a photo of the troubleshoot page. You will need it. I needed it for all devices that used fetch when regaining access to WiFi. In closing: Dont get me wrong, the app works and you can use most of the internet. It’s slow, you can use your phone, and some stuff just won’t work. This app is handy if you need internet for like 5 minutes on you computer and you have a cable. I went 6 days without WiFi at my new house to try and see if I could get away just using this app and other resources. Today I called to have WiFi installed at my place. It won’t fully replace WiFi, it’s a supplement at best. But it does work. Thus 3 stars. I got my $ worth out of it.
