Web is good but app is not useful

mileusna

l love feedly on web, but this app is frustrating. Just implement normal scroll, not page down. I would like to swipe and mark the item as read, removed, just like with most of email clients. Right now, swipe will make all items on the screen gray. Sometimes it will gray only one item, but most of the times it will gray all items on page?!?

Display rotation broken for iPad 10.3.3

mrmambo

Update: 2/2018 release is broken under 10.3.3 on my iPad 4th gen—rotation is over sensitive and the display rotates when clicking to next article. So annoying and no way to contact devs. Original: The app has gotten very unreliable: it now crashes almost continuously for me, especially when using the Safari View Controller (built-in browser). Plus, the promised tap to navigate and close functions don't work under 9.2. This is beta 4, so the release is imminent; Feedly should be working fine under it--all my other apps are.

This is my addiction. Not Facebook or Instagram, just Feedly. Having a constant stream of interesting news to go through is great, and Feedly makes it effortless and natural. Great work folks!

Latest update frustrating - Updated 03.01.18

tiredoftypingnicknames

Been using Feedly for ages without a hiccup. Latest update (40.0.5) is frustrating to use. It now takes up to five swipes to get to the next page in my feed. Prior versions were always responsive. Swiping/scrolling is fine if I’m in a news item, however, so it’s not an app-wide issue. Using latest generation 12.5” iPad Pro. Switching to another RSS app until this gets fixed. - Updated 03.01.18 To the dev’s credit, the most recent update fixed the swipe issue I was experiencing. Usability is back to normal. I just wish that the iOS version mimicked the Android one. It would be nice to have the articles open w/in the app instead of having to launch a browser to read them in full. Granted, it’s not a huge deal, but it’s strange that the functionality isn’t cross-platform.

Inconsistent scrolling method is infuriating

Riyami

The app has good features, but its inconsistent scrolling method is driving me crazy. In the "Today" view, scrolling is per page, so it scrolls through a bunch of articles at the same time. While everywhere else, there is smooth scrolling. There doesn't seem to be an option to change the scrolling method in the Today view. Please fix this.

Consistently serving up my RSS feeds.

I hit Feedly daily. This makes me very happy.

My favorite free RSS

I used Netnewswire till it was no longer free. This has become an adequate replacement allowing me to quickly email myself interesting articles in two clicks.

White Screen of Nothing - Now Fixed

Store32Shopper

This app just gets worse with each update- and as an original premium supporter, I've been using it for a long time. The latest update causes a 180 degree rotation when swiping to the next article. It's ludicrously sensitive. The funny thing is that this overly sensitive rotation seems to disappear after the first rotation. I have to pound my iPad on the table to get it to rotate back. Setting the rotation lock doesn't prevent this either. It's time for the developers to call a moratorium on adding questionably useful features and go back to basics and create an app that works and a QA/QC program to ensure it stays that way. I'm looking at alternatives now, despite being an early adopter/supporter.

Love it.

I’ve been using it for years. Tried so many others and wasn’t happy. Feedly is it for me.
