The new ad model is intrusive and excessive. It’s one thing seeing an ad or two per session, but seeing an ad in the middle of every feed is obnoxious. Not worth $65 a year to eliminate the ads. Will get my news in other ways.

Ever since the iOS 13 update, this app has not worked as it used to. After reading articles, I don’t get taken back to where I was in the read list, I’m actually taken back several pages. Same experience in iPadOS and iOS 13.

Downloaded because of claim for keyword notifications. Created a login, entered the keyword which is a famous beer company in the spotlight right now and the app kept kicking out “script error”. Wouldn’t take it with or without quotes. Then I just looked up stories in the normal search too and not one story was listed for the current news.

iOS 13 on iPhone X. There’s been a persistent bug where the app randomly turns the nav/left-shelf into an all-white block. Especially delightful since I use dark mode and when launching the app at night, my eyes are looking for a good strain. Sorry for the grumbles. I do enjoy the app it’s just frustrating experiencing it at seemingly random occurrences. The simple fix is to kill the app and relaunch. Which isn’t terrible. Just again, annoying.

Scrolling the article list is very jerky. How can you mess up something so basic??

A core feature for me, hence the one star. If I cannot open articles in my browser of choice, then the entire app is of zero value; it is an exercise in frustration. When selecting the app to share with, the link is not formatted correctly, having the article description plastered in front of the URL. "Share With" works perfectly on literally every other app I have, so I am doubtful it is how FF is receiving and parsing the data.

I love Feedly and I recommend it regularly to friends and colleagues. This is a really good app, but the latest update removed the author attribution on the summary page and the article page. Not only is this an insult to the writers, it makes it so that the reader can’t easily read the writers they enjoy while skipping the ones they don’t. This is and should be one of the basic features of an aggregator site like Feedly. One other feature that was removed a while back was the ability to edit feeds with a sideways swipe to delete. I miss this. The current method of removal is clunky.

Love(d) Feedly. Starting yesterday, every time I click on a link, I get a blank white screen. Guess it’s time to find something else. Bummer.

Overall I’m a fan. However, since the update about a month ago the menu shows up as blank and I have to turn off my phone to get it to come back.
