This version completely eliminated my access to my video library on my iPhone 5 and on my iPad. This is completely irresponsible on the part of the developers. I will be looking for an alternate media catalog program now.

Nice, logical interface, barcode scan did not work

Evaluating options for cataloging media. Interface works fine, but got blocked at the first, vital step: scanning a book Isbn barcode. On both scan settings, I tried all ways of centering the barcode in the region, under different light conditions, different media, and was unable to actually get the app to read it. Book Crawler and iBookshelf using the pic2shop scanner worked on the books as expected.

Useless for actual libraries... of books...

I have used several book organizers and after using Fantastic Library for 2 days, it surpasses them all. In particular: - beautiful, clean display of book collections - works fast and reliably with Siri to speak ISBNs and look them up - "categories" work perfectly, unlike most other apps. Can extend these easily to reflect the way I think about book categories, rather than auto-generating forced categories on me. Pick list selections of categories for each book, which was sorely lacking in other apps This has reset the bar way up for other such apps.

Fantastic app for home media collection organization

This app is simply fantastic for keeping track of your media files. Sometimes, maybe once in fifty scans it got the wrong info, but it gets it right nearly all of the time. It does have trouble finding older books, even when you have the ISBN, but for most things it works quite well. I would like to see a way to I duplicate titles for multiple similar books. This app is extremely well worth the money. There are so many options to help keep track of your collections that you'll be discovering them over time to your amazement.

I'm a piano teacher and I use this app to keep track of all my music books. ***I'd like to see an update which allows you to search WITHIN a specific category.*** For example, I want to be in the Christmas category and search the term "intermediate" to find all of my intermediate-level Christmas music books. As of right now, I can only search "intermediate" amongst ALL of my books, therefore returning results from all categories. This makes it very difficult to find all of my intermediate-level Christmas books.

I just started using this app and so far I like it. There is one thing I would like; I would like to set a default category for each library. I have created a Book lib, Music lib & Movie lib. I don't need to have categories for movie and music in my book lib. I have categories for used, new.
