Tons of stories, but tons of problems also

I read on this app everyday, so I’ve become accustomed to its issues, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still annoying. Aside from the constant re-logging in, and occasional inability to connect to the archives, it seems since the last update, now I don’t even have buttons/options to go to the next chapter of a story. The back & forward arrows have completely disappeared off the interface. Now I can only read one-shots or I have to go online and find the story via safari. It’s made me want to give up on this app, altogether. If this app worked seamlessly, it’d be 5 stars, because I appreciate the amount of stories as well as the filter capabilities. I also like the reading section so I can see what I’ve read most recently. But sadly, there are too many bugs. Just so many.
Unhandy Features

I can only write a short review in this version of the app. Eventually my text runs down into my keyboard and there’s no scroll feature to see what I’m typing. It’s really unhandy considering I like to write fairly lengthy reviews on chapters that I like. What’s the point in me having and using the app if I can’t write a good review from it either? Not to mention that the “contact us” feature in the app is something that I don’t really understand. My conversations pop up like I’m texting someone and I’m going to get a response back but I don’t. Kind of feel like that’s just a feature to make you think they’re looking at your interests or concerns for the app but they’re not. Even though I click the remember me feature when I log in I still have to log back in quite often. It would also be nice to have a bigger button to click through chapters when reading. We used to be able to swipe left and right to go to next and previous chapters. Now we have to click on the teeny tiny arrows that sit next to other buttons and I’m constantly clicking on those or they’re not reading me clicking on them and I have to tap on the jump chapters feature just to go to the next chapter to keep reading. Seems like instead of this app getting better each version it gets worse.

FanFiction is great and I’ve been reading on it for a few years but earlier today I was typing a story and when I went to start writing it again, all my progress was gone. I’m really upset and I hope you can do something to fix my app but otherwise I love FanFiction!

I used to love this app. I’ve been using it for years. However it has gone downhill. The app will regularly say there are no search results available even when I search for something basic like “Love” or when I search for a story I wrote with the exact title. I used to have to delete it and then reinstall it to get the search to work and that doesn’t even do it anymore. It just clears out the stories I read and didn’t save.

This app is amazing, and is one of the only apps I use on my phone anymore. But, recently, it has refused to let me find anything new. When I search something, even the most popular searches, it says no results found... I tried logging out, and just uninstalling and reinstalling, but it didn’t fix the problem.../

This use to be my go to app for reading offline but after the initial update whenever I try opening it the app crashes! So frustrating and this is the pro version. Sigh.
