I had the fan and light professionally installed with the Remote receiver. I have found that I have received multiple warnings “Please confirm that the ceiling fan is within range”. I am sitting directly under the fan and it still gives me the message. After it gives me that message there is no way to rectify the lack of the app working. The only thing I can do is to go to the wall unit turn off the power and then turn it back on. The app is really poor.
Disconnects in timer mode

On off function works great. When attempting to set a light or fan timer the app frequently says disconnected from fan. However, the timer function does work some of the time without giving an error message.
Didn’t work with iPhone X

None of the buttons worked on the app. Couldn’t get anywhere. None of these apps work for ceiling fans. Waste of time. Deleted.
Remote not working

Just installed fan and the app works great but the remote isn’t working. I tried cycling power on ceiling fan with receiver and then pushed the learn button on the remote and it still doesn’t work. Any suggestions?
