Frustrating

This app is generally wonderful and easy to use. However, today is the third time that I have made an audio recording which has, evidently, been incorrectly saved by the system. (Having used this app daily for several months now, I am familiar and comfortable with how to record and save and mark the audio files.) Evidently, if one has to pause and then resume the recording, all that gets "saved" is what was recorded before the pause, even though the timer indicates that the recording has resumed properly. Some of these recordings are intended to be spoken only once, and to have recorded several minutes of audio and then to see later that only part of the file was saved is deeply frustrating. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. This is, generally, one of my favorite apps to use. It is truly a blessing.

I had two special conversations that were supposedly recording and then after saving I noticed the duration was "unknown". The other recordings were fantastic.
iPhone Bug & The Workaround

Problem: Did not work on myiPhone 7+, 6+ Or iPad 4th Gen. despite software updates, app updates and uninstalling/reinstalling. When trying to upload a photo it would show a little bitty thumbnail picture… About the size of my pinky fingernail… Then when you tried uploaded it the app would just spin. Solution: Using an iPhone, if you have cropped or edited the photo you were trying to upload on your iPhone BEFORE uploading it into Memories or Family Tree it gives the errors uploading stated above. Once I go back to the photos on my iPhone in my Photos app and revert the photo to the original, before any rotations or changes were made, then I can upload it into Family Tree and Memories and crop or rotate within the memories app without issues. Despite numerous trouble tickets with tech-support, they couldn't duplicate the problem. Now that I have figured it out I hope they can fix the bug so that other people don't have these issues. It's a great app when it works right!

It is a fast and convenient way to capture memories from family members. The part I especially love is the Audi recording capability from within this app and the interview questions on the same screen with the recording controls, in case you run into a mental block on what to ask.
Something has changed...

First, I hit the finish button before 15 minutes and nothing recorded. So I thought I would go 10 minutes. Well guy I was recording was still in his story so I waited til 14 minutes.... nothing recorded. I could only get it to work with stories under 10 minutes. Next, I can not figure out how to place the audio recordings into family search memories. And yet I used it a year ago with no problem to put photos on. It may be user error, but I'm still soooo frustrated.
