Fade In

Great app! User friendly and simple, yet powerful!

Great mobile writer app

I'm not sure why someone would write an entire screenplay on their phone. But I use this for quick screen ideas while away from my laptop. I highly recommend the iOS version as well.

Great for my writing!

I'm writing a scrip and this allows me to effortlessly add characters, dialog and everything I need that I don't feel like typing in. I've been searching forever for an app like this

Awesome app!

If you want to direct a play, movie, or perhaps a musical, this is the perfect free app. It has everything needed to write a good script. I started it right away and I wrote two whole scripts! If you are looking for something easy and free, this is it. It even says how to use it! Please download. It is amazing.

It's stupid

Great app

Takes some getting used to but great app. I like it a lot. I only wish my writing would synchronize between all my devices.

Thank you!

I listend to Chrome Noir on the Blacklist Table Reads podcast and it was amazing. I heard your interview and checked out your app. I'm just starting to try to write things for fun and this is a wonderful tool. Very organized and easy to use.

Doesn't work very well

Randy Dreammaker

It doesn't work very well, very limited settings, poor implementation of Dropbox. This app, even free version should be able to import Dropbox without having to do it directly within the app. Dropbox in this app loses its sync and has to be reloaded in. Imports from Dropbox is slow even for small files, unable to open synced files even to read only offered in free version. I had it installed last year in IOS 8 because a collaborator uses FadeIn but uninstalled it for similar reasons. I'll be uninstalling it again. I installed it this time because I am working with the same collaborator (now using IOS 9 & 10) and will switch to PDF or OpenOffice instead. Fadein needs updated to import from other Apps like the free Open Office and also from Google Dropbox. An iPhone user should be also be able to go directly into the Dropbox app and do an "Open-in" on the documents and be able to select Fadein to have the document launch into Fadein. This app seems very technology outdated for iPhone users.

Does what it says

I've had no issues. Will buy the upgrade so that I can sync back and forth between my iphone and ipad.
