I’ve had this app since the start of the original Facetune. I now have the new Facetune and pay for the yearly subscription. I was iffy on the payment idea since there are so many other apps that do retouching for free but I will say that over all I do not mind paying $10 a year for this service. They have plenty of options to retouch your photos and the tools/effects have a good quality to them. $10 a year to help them improve the app and continue to add features is well worth it if you retouch photos. Daniel & the Facetune team are very receptive to the reviews user submitted ideas and requests and are constantly rolling out updates to improve the features.

I purchased this app a month ago and was surprised that I was charged again $14.99 yesterday for a subscription when I thought it was a one time purchase for this app. I also couldn’t find the page where it shows the detailed information about the subscription fee. Does this app really cost $14.99/mo.?

I literally just bought this app and judging by how I could edit the sample photos I like it, but I’m not able to import my own pictures to edit and it’s getting very frustrating.

Terrible app once you make an I store purchase there is no way to unsubscribe!!! I am very unhappy with my purchase! Tried to delete app to end subscription and I am still getting charged monthly. Do not make in store purchases if you only want to use for a short amount of time!!

New features

Zombie killer :)

I have the first version. I like this one better it gives you more option. I like the background changes you can do. Though I wish you could choice a color from the picture itself instead of preset backgrounds. I like the facial fester changes and how you can put on make up and high light. Over all I really like it.

Ok, you just completely messed with a perfectly wonderful app to make it slow, non responsive, features difficult to now find...geese used this app daily multiple times, looking for a new one unless you can get functionality back... useless!! Grrrrrr I rated it 5 star just a year ago... Sadly been playing with the update about 4 days... freezes, backgrounds never even load, what a train wreck of great app! Have iphone X

This app is more professional and simpler to use than many apps. 1) I want more control over the editing process, like the 1st version. I find myself using that version still because it just worked better with regards to fine tuning. 2) I don't mind paying for an app thays well made and maintained. I'm not down with the all or none subscription. Well bundles or individual features. I'd even pay $2-3 for a single feature but I'll never subscribe. I just send it pic to an app that will do that other feature. 3) SOLUTION- make a pro app that allows for fine tuning rather than all one touch stuff. Do it like the old app where you can do one touch and fine tuning. add in layering and a pixel level editing section. I'd pay $15-20 for a full features app with quality editing on top of the wild manipulations
