extraHrs connects HHS organizations (and businesses) that have extra hours with HHS workers -- specifically Direct Care Workers, Home Health Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses -- that want extra hours.

extraHrs' goals are:

To save HHS organizations time by eliminating the need for managers, directors, etc to make phone calls to multiple relief (also known as temporary or per diem) staff in search for staff coverage. Instead of making multiple phone calls, available shifts may be posted on extraHrs which then automates the process of getting coverage.

To eliminate the need for organizations to hire multiple relief staff. Instead, they can rely on extraHrs' network of vetted healthcare workers all of whom are currently employed elsewhere as healthcare workers and are simply interested in extra hours.

To save organizations money by significantly reducing the likelihood of giving overtime to their employees and eliminating the need for them to find staff coverage via agencies many of which charge a high fee.

To significantly reduce organizations' payroll load. Instead of making multiple payments to multiple relief staff, only one payment may be made to LogeekSoft which then makes payments to all applicable healthcare workers.

To eliminate the need for healthcare workers to apply for multiple jobs. Via extraHrs, workers have access to shifts posted by various organizations.

To ensure that healthcare workers get paid more per hour. This mainly applies to those workers who currently get extra hours via agencies which are known to take a substantial commission from workers' pay.

To make it possible for workers to decide when they would like to get paid instead of relying on the payroll cycle. For example, instead of waiting for the pay period to end, workers may request for payment at the end of their shifts. Where applicable, LogeekSoft may automatically transfer funds to workers' accounts.
