Don't buy this app

My first complaint is about the poor English. "You did it very good." And, "a angry face." Second complaint, after making the "correct" sad face, the other kids in the class point at the sad child and laugh. Third, the user is not identifying expressions. He is choosing the correct facial features (including nose) to compose a given expression. If a child can't read expressions, I'm pretty sure h would have a difficult time choosing which eyebrows are sad. The noses, other than skin tone, I have no idea why one is more correct than another.

Nice app from EdNinja

Another nice app from EdNinja. This app helps to identify 4 different emotions - happy, sad, scared, or angry. The point of this app is to help kids identify an emotion by reading facial expressions. This is something extremely difficult for kids on the spectrum, and being able to piece a face together that conveys an emotion outside of themselves helps bring to understanding not only feelings within themselves, but others too. Once constructed you could practice the expressions in a mirror, or play "Guess My Face." My only wish is that, this app came with a few more emotions. Having only 4, seems somewhat limited.

Disappointed
Guy with sword

I was disappointed when I tried out this app. I found it confusing trying to match a sad nose and feel like if I have a hard time my son would have a really hard time. When I finished the sad face it was a kid standing in class with a bad grade and the kids in the background were laughing. I fell this is not only inappropriate, but would be confusing to a child with autism.

Simple yet fairly effective
Social Express

I like this app for teaching students that there are features of the face that are more relevant than others. It makes learning about face reading a fun game.
