Bad experience paying for hotel

We used my card to hold the room and wanted to my husband’s card when we arrived at our hotel. We were staying for 2 nights. The hotel is at fault for not doing what we asked. The hotel charged both cards instead of putting 2 nights on one card. I called Expedia to see if they could change the payment with the hotel and was told that the customer service rep had called the hotel and she assured us that this charge was not going through on my card. She promised us that the charge was going through on my husband’s card. It was a bald faced lie. Now Im on vacation and my bank has a charge on my card that cannot be paid because the money was on my husband’s card. I can’t do anything about it.

If I could rate 0 to this app there is a bad service they only steal your time and money they show a price on airlines tickets but it charger more I was booking a family flights vacation I called them to get an explanation what happened why they took my money from my card and I didn’t receive any email or itinerary now the money is pending I won’t get back in two to three business day to call my bank I called my bank they said the Expedia need to release they money so I can get the money available to used again but the answer it’s your fault trying to used your card again your money is pending we didn’t take from your card They are not helpful at all and I asked them why they do that showing different prices and charging more they said it’s not us is the app that change depend on the city I wouldn’t recommend this app at all

My last stay the hotel had no record of my reservation. That has happened more than once. I had to stay in a room unlike what I ordered. I received an email to rate the hotel and the link took me to a site that was so incomplete I could not rate it. It just had a check mark and said “required field”..but no fields to put anything into.

Terrible app. Flight availability is not updated. When I called customer service I was given incorrect info to resolve my issue. All others are to blame for my inconvenience. I will not use this app again.

So tired of getting error messages when I start a new search! Yes, I deleted and downloaded already. 3 times. Fix the bugs. So great when it actually works.

Multicity Flights on app??

I can’t book multicity flights on the app, although it is offered on the website. It’s disturbing to know I am missing out on the double points because of this major app flaw. Expedia, you coukd do better. I’ve been an expedia user for years now, but debating my unreasonable loyalty to this site and taking my money to another site that provides at least the basics expected in 2018.

I don’t really write app reviews but for Expedia I have to. One of the best designed apps I have ever used. So easy to use, looks great, can edit account info on app without having to log in. Excellent app, definitely use Expedia and the app if you have any travel plans. Lowest prices too, and good rewards system.
