Beware! I tried to log in to use the app and I was stopped by a message saying that my subscription was “no longer active” due to an updated new app launch. So I assumed my subscription had been cancelled. I didn’t realize they kept on charging me 9.99 for the use of the app that I was never allowed to use in the first place. I hope I am reimbursed. This whole experience was stressful instead of relaxing.

Bought this excited to access the meditations, only to learn after downloading and setting up an account that you needed a subscription after the 7-day trial. That should be stated clearly. Feel duped.

I am in my first trimester and was hoping for a guided meditation that would connect me to my baby and foster a sense of hope and wellness. These meditations were pretty basic, I didn’t find them especially engaging. Also, I am single, and the only program they offer on babies’ development is designed for couples, which personally didn’t sit well with me. I would’ve appreciated visualizations about healthy babies that didn’t necessarily require the involvement of a partner.

If you're looking to meditate during pregnancy PLEASE download headspace pro instead. Expectful's meditations are just all over the place. They do offer calming words throughout that could be helpful, but it does not provide a way to get into a mindfulness practice in my opinion. Also I'm not affiliated with headspace in any way, I just think their product is MUCH better after trying both.

Sure they let you download the app for free but there were no meditations I could access without signing up for the $10/ month subscription!! Very deceiving and disappointed. You should have a few sampler meditations from each stage.

It took me a while to get into, but I'm greatly enjoying the meditations. I use them to sleep and just relax during the day.

I downloaded the app and thought it was great. It wasn’t what I was looking for so I didn’t keep it. I did get charged for the annual subscription of it and I emailed support and got response right away and my money back. You will not have problems with this app if it’s what’s needed the money is worth it.

Expectful has quickly become part of my daily routine as a mom of a one year old. I wish I discovered it sooner! Worth it! Wish there was more content for postpartum though. Definitely going to use if we get pregnant again
