A lot of potential.

Mr. Tesla himself

This app is good for quick and easy tests, it's the easiest simulator I know of and has a lot of room for expanding its capabilities.

Not good for beginners

This program isn't very easy to follow if you're looking to do things like make a 60Hz clock (on a DC circuit using resistors and capacitors, not an astable 555), the wiring on most of the examples are using switches when in real life I may be bringing in a constant 5v from an RS232 line. It's very expensive too and I haven't found much use for it yet. There's a community but not a way to get help. I'm still having to google continually to try and learn things like RC circuits, and then try to translate them into EveryCircuit and fail. This program is pretty but so far useless.

Nice

Paramikey

Could use a few more icons and adjustable bread board ... would like to make it bigger

Great potential

Firstly thank you for writing such a good and beautiful app. Keep it up. I have no place to discuss accuracy of electronic models here but for simple circuits, this app works pretty well. Pros: - Apple-standard GUI - Interactive, waveforms react while changing component values - Web version run on Chrome browser - One license for all platforms - Great price if it can meet my listed suggestions below Suggested missing features: - No support for subcircuits - No option for custom component model using advanced mathematics for component's behavior - No expression such as real-time waveform addition or substraction - Unadjustable board size Cons: - No option to export waveforms - Missing file organizational basics: can't export as photo directly to photo library (I came around and take ipad screenshoots but the background is black and for the sake of ink-saving when printing, this is not optimized), no folder, no sync to 3rd party cloud storage... These missing features may have workarounds but more convenience when built-in. Please don't feel discouraged because the top 3 missing features I listed can be found in professional-level circuit design software. This app shows promising track records to live up to its great potential. Worth my money for now. Recommended!

Inscrutible.

There's no manual for this app? Given the extreme reliance on pictographs and icons in the interface over descriptive text, without a manual this app is pretty much worthless for anyone new to electronics. Too much trial and error required even to assemble the most basic circuits.

Great game but...

Great game but major glitches like I can only make a circuit with a 7-segment display and I can't spit one wire into 2

Great App for Prototyping, Testing Circuit Diagrams, etc...

Like an oscilloscope, this kind of application is absolutely essential to anyone pursuing a more in-depth understanding of electrical theory and application, prototyping, or just figuring out what this new circuit schematic you found online does. Everything is beautifully designed and color really adds a lot here. When it comes to communities, this little app comes with a top-notch following of hobbyists and experts alike, all willing to share their wisdom and experience to help you get the most out of this tool and to help you progress your working knowledge of electricity and common practices meant to both aid you in making projects easier and to keep you and your creations, and any innocent bystanders safe. Totally worth every penny and your paid account also gives you access to the desktop version which has a much larger build space to take advantage of higher resolution displays. You won't have buyers remorse with this purchase.

Incomprehensible UI

I built a simple circuit, got some traces up, but they didn't match what they should have displayed. The purpose of many UI elements is unclear. It was hard to tell if the app was doing anything in response to my input, or if it was buggy, or if I was just using it the wrong way. Couldn't find a user guide on the developers site either.

Interface is confusing. Be advised that you will not be able to make anything more than a very simple circuit without paying for the upgrade. The free version only allows 5 components, 2 of which must be a voltage/current source and ground.

2 thumbs up!

Beautiful, polished, and easy to use!
