I had a seller threaten me and so I contacted Etsy so they could take care of this. Nobody took my complaint seriously and it never got resolved at all! I’m by far disgusted as a buyer. The seller then went on to comment under a feedback I left and said I threatened her when I did not she threatened me because I left an honest feedback which it seems she didn’t like. I would never threaten someone that’s not the type of person I am! The seller then lied saying I sent a threatening message when I never did such a thing. the seller also lied saying I’m going around many sellers pages leaving false reviews. I leave honest reviews I will not be bullied into leaving a 5 star review for the sake of your benefit when the service I paid for didn’t deserve 5 star rating. I contacted Etsy multiple times to handle this situation unfortunately they said ignore her. What exactly is that going to do ? That’s ridiculous. The seller lied and threatened me and nothing was done about it. It’s disgusting and unprofessional.. especially since Etsy did nothing about it. by far terrible customer service when dealing with complains about a seller. It’s unfortunate.

Tip: update the search engine. Worst search engine ANYWHERE! I would never consider selling on Etsy for that reason alone. Please make it possible to actually delete favorites. Oh wait never mind- there’s nobody there.
Needs some features

Although extra features are available on the browser-version of Etsy, the app is lacking. Some suggestions are to add the extra filtering options like on your desktop site. Another huge missing feature is to sort reviews by picture. Seeing a picture of a product is very important in the purchase decision and often times shop photos look very different from review photos. I dislike scrolling endlessly to find a few pictures in the review sections. Etsy is honestly a wonderful website with lots to offer. I have spent countless hours and countless amounts of money on the variety of shops there. I think with a few small changes this app could have it all.
Contracts with sellers

I had a contract to purchase with JMVCreativeVentures. Seller subsequently refused follow up on the contract because they realized they had made some error but admitted we had a contract. I was relying on this purchase. Etsy will do nothing. I asked them to remove the seller. They will not even contact seller. Seller is involved in a bait and switch game. Etsy is running a bad business.

I love this app and use it all the time. I do wish that I could leave a review once I receive the item. Some items I hate having to wait days to leave a review. If the product is amazing I want to tell the shop right away.

I love the convenience of my Etsy app! I have used it on several occasions to quickly & successfully locate exactly what I'm looking for! One of my favorite go-to apps! Definitely wouldn't want to be without it.
