Facebook requirement is a no go for me

I was interested in the keyboard. It looks really nice, however requiring a Facebook login and wanting to read basic profile info is more than I want a keyboard app knowing about me. Seems to be a pretty silly requirement and ensures I won't be trying this app any more any time soon.

Why do I have to have a Facebook account to have a keyboard app??? This doesn't make any sense. All I wanted was a new keyboard. ?

The idea of having a shortcut to type messages in seconds is convenient and has potential. The only problem I have is needing to sign in through Facebook. It's uncomfortable giving personal to an app that doesn't need. I suggest waiting until that requirement is gone because I don't feel safe sharing so much info to an app that doesn't need it.

First of all I couldn't even use it because the only way you can sign in is with Facebook. So what happens when some of us don't have Facebook, well you can't use this app. So very bad because I don't have Facebook.

THIS IS THE WORST!!! Why would you need an account for Facebook to use a stupid keyboard??!! I have an app called FANCY KEY. FANCY KEY IS THE BEST KEYBOARD APP!! This is stupid. Why do you even need an ACCOUNT?!?! Whoever made this is a stupid freak. They need to make a better app and step up their game??????

This keyboard is soo convenient, It has a sleek style that you don't get tired of, And the app is easy to use. But there are some things that absolutely need to be fixed .... Double clicking the uppercase arrow doesn't turn on caps lock, And those options that apple has in the keyboard settings (ex; Turn off autocorrect, Turn off autocapitalization, Turn off "." shortcut, Etc) absolutely HAVE to be added to the app's settings. Besides that, It is a wonderful app.

It requires you to sign in to your Facebook account. This seems unnecessary. The app looks great, but no thanks.

I like this app, But I do agree with the people who are saying that you have to sign in with Facebook, which is not entirely true. If you go to your settings app, (settings-general-keyboard-keyboards) yo can actually add it as a keyboard and it will work. They want u to sign into Facebook to search and play around with the app. If u don't have a Facebook account, that's okay.

Does not work without face book. When you sign in with Facebook it say's and I quote " etch will receive the following info from YOUR Facebook. your public profile, friends list and email addresses. Can't use etch unless you allow them to invade your privacy. Well no thanks and this will continue until every one puts a stop to it.

It doesn't fricking work if you don't have Facebook I deleted in 5 seconds and if I have to sign in with a social media at least put a popular one like Instagram or Twitter well at least I saved more storage by deleting it☺️☺️☺️?
