Constantly crashing
BBswing

Esquire is a great magazine, and I’ve been a digital subscriber for years, but I am not a fan of the current app’s function or form. It is constantly freezing and crashing, downloads are slow, and even when it is working, the frame that for some reason the app puts around the pages is constantly intruding on the experience of reading the issue. It used to be much better but changed format sometime in the last couple of years to its detriment.

Rip off
CaptainFootnotes

I subscribed for the digital service a month ago and have yet to be able to access anything of value in the app or online. All I seem to be able to get is five minutes of access to the latest issue DESPITE PAYING FOR A DIGITAL SUBSCRIPTION! Their customer service is nonexistent. DO NOT BUY.

Because Zero Stars Is Not An Option
KenGM

DO NOT subscribe through this app. Like every one of the Maz apps it is filled with bugs and will take you forever to actually access an issue or issues you’ve purchased. Piece of ?

Where’s Charlie?
Hopeless in Missouri

I subscribed for a year of Charlie Pierce’s commentary for $19.95. Where did it go? I can’t find it on your app.

Horrible download experience
jimbo154,8

This is the only app that doesn’t work well of all of the men,s mags. Glitchy and slow. Freezes all the time, even after reinstalling several times, every time.

iPod mini issues
esquiredme

Once again content is not loading on iPod mini

Barely works
tfhswoo

App barely works.

Love the magazine, hate the app
KarlSomething

This app is insanely buggy, even though they seem to always be changing it, it seems to never get fixed.

Pathetic
SwiftieMacerHiddles

I bought a back issue that I know I had previously bought only to find I couldn’t access it even after paying $6.99. Unbelievable business model. Shame.

I used to love this app

There once was a great benefit to subscribing through the app- additional content, interactive experiences, and more. But now it’s just a scanned version of the print magazine. Unless something changes, I’m cancelling my digital subscription by he next cycle.
