I have a Max 36p and Passport Max. My iPhone OS 11 connects to the radar detector. However the Escort live app does not recognize the connection. This defeats the functionality and integration of the detector and the app. It has never worked. This is a subscription service that we pay for. I would not waste your $ on the Escort Live subscription. Horrible customer service. I would like a refund for the service as the app doesn’t and recognize the radar detector. Don’t wast your money. The detector is awesome but the app and service are useless.

This used to be a great app with the $500 radar detector I bought. Have had it for 3 years. Worked great then escort updated the app & it will no longer pair with apple phones. I have an android work phone & it works fine with the app. Just not anything apple. I have called them, I have done everything you can think of. Now i am out for a premium account price. There IT department says its an apple problem but the funny thing is it didn’t stop working until escort updated the app itself.

They need to update there app!!!

They really need to update there app to work with iOS 11, just got my radar detector and just found out it doesn’t work with iOS 11, the reason I bought it was because of the escort live, but now it seem like I wasted my money cause I’m not getting the whole product. Hopefully they fix it soon or I’ll be going to a different radar detector

Needs a brand new update and worked on! I don’t want to have to open the app every time i get into my car it would be way better if it just did it all at once and the GPS definitely need to be worked on asap!!

Can we please get an update?!

This app needs to be updated for iPhone X, the iPad...come on guys! It’s 2018, not everyone uses an iPhone 4S nowadays.

The app resets its settings sometimes

Once in a while, when I launch the app, I see a License agreement form (which I have previously accepted) or a Tutorial on how to get started instead of the login screen. The app seems to forget all its settings (Over speed limit threshold, simple/advanced alert type, and Locked out radar locations). At least if remembers the password and would login after killing it and restarting at this point, but all the settings are back to default. It used to be the case that after each of those “amnesia” events the app size would increase, so old settings and data still live on the device, but are ignored by the app. This is my main annoyance. I wouldn’t repeat other comments, but the app also needs a good UI update (perhaps even rewrite with auto layout, especially now when iPhone X is here).

I have two escorts . A redline with the Bluetooth cooled power wire and a max 360 which in my opinion is low range detecting and the Bluetooth never connects on them . To me app is worthless . I bought the detector used so I never tried the payed app . I downloaded and using the free one which in my opinion is worthless . Why should my escort warn other people paying for the app when it never warns people using it for free. To me it’s nothing special . Waze can do this and it’s free .

Whomever coded this app should be embarrassed. Connectivity to the unit is a 50-50 shot. Connectivity to the server is a 40%. I really wish I didn’t pay the $50 for the premium service

NEEDS AN UPDATE TO FIX THE COMPATABILITY issue WITH iOS 11.2.6!!!! Otherwise I love the app when I can use it and love the radar passport Max 360 detector! Also there is no option to control the amt of time before the location services of the app shuts down, and that sometimes after the location services has shut down and you plug the radar back in it doesn't register the speed zone. Also when it doesn't register the speed zone, there's no refresh button on the live smart cord or app. If escort could address that, this would be a 5 star app!
