First review- worth it!

inSaneGinger

I've played/ read voltage games for years- and I never write reviews (on anything) but I really do enjoy these story lines! I can't wait for the other character stories to be ready. I look forward to it. I do with the stories were longer than 13 chapters and only 3 chapters on the side but at this point I'll take it. Love it!

It's okay

I've only played a little bit, but the story isn't for me. I prefer the story portrayed in the Hakuoki version, as well as the artwork and characters. However, this app does have some cool perks, like some simple animation and text movement. I'm getting the feeling that this will be a lot more direct with the romance and will push it more quickly than Hakuoki does. The dual ending concept seems promising but I'm not sure if I will play through a route to the end to see.

What's with the coins?!

(ღ˘⌣˘ღ) ♫・*

I don't like this new coin system. It's confusing, like am I suppose to buy coins and then choose a story? Or just go straight to choosing the story? Anyway, I bought coins first and the purchase went through but no coins loaded to the app. I even restated the app. I go to the coins page and it just keeps spinning like its loading. Since it supposedly recognized my purchase I just restarted and chose a story and it made me purchase the story so I did thinking its finally loading my purchased coins. Well it didn't and I got charged again for the story. I got double charged for one story and some coins that never loaded. I should of just bought the story from the character page. It's confusing and took my money! App also keeps crashing!!! ?

Downloaded this on a whim from an ad within another Voltage app. Since I already play Cybird's Destined to Love, I wasn't sure if I wanted one with the same character names. However, I didn't realized this one would be voiced to a certain extent! The sprite scenes sometimes have "animation" to them, and the phone buzzes at times where the characters interact with you within the main story. I haven't gone about paying for anything yet, so I can't say for sure if this game suffers from Voltage's sometimes repetitive nature (at least the looks are slightly more varied than some of their others). But I'm very enticed and will probably end up paying for a route or two. I'll be back once that happens!

I just want to read!

pls send help

Please please update this. I just spent $4 on coins (I'm not fond of this new system either) and it didn't even load! $4 is a lot as it is and it isn't fair when it doesn't get transferred onto my game. Please fix, I have high expectations for this app as I do the rest ;-;

Nice

The characters and content are pretty good. All the boys are handsome and caring. I like its music btw. Something like that :)) I love all of them

Please fix

MyHeroLimps

The coin system is horrible!! There should be some way to get coins for free, or be able to get up to 400 coins over the course of a few hours. With the way it is now you have to pay in order to have any coins and it's ridiculous!

Bad reviews

The bad reviews are about a glitches that has been fixed. The game is quite nice and I love all the characters, especially Hijikata ^^

Not Happy!!!!

The stories are great. If only I could get them back. I'm VERY angry. I have been playing Voltage games for four years now. I have always enjoyed them. But I HATE that they removed the 'restore purchases' button, which has now cost me around 50$. I have played these games so long that I had no clue that this one would be any different, especially when they didn't make any obvious warning. But now I'm trying to get my stuff back and it's not happening. I paid for these stories, and now I can't access them. This is 100% ridiculous. Also, the coin system is extremely unnecessary. I hate to see Voltage doing this after so many amazing games. Thief X, and 10 Days With My Devil were their best games all around. I'm a big fan of their game Butler until Midnight, although it has a transfer data thing to it seems to at least also have a restore button as well. And PiratesInLove will always be the game where I became addicted in the first place. Voltage, remember where you started. These stories are what made your company great and different. You're trying to conform by doing all of this new stuff but the people who have stuck with you for all these years are now unhappy because your games are changing in a way that isn't ideal. We've always liked the pay once for a story and read it whenever you like, we like being able to restore our purchases with the push of a button, and we preferred when we didn't have a coin system to make the app made for beautiful stories become complicated and unpleasant. I have lost money due to this new feature. I'm am personally upset by this new feature. And I am saddened to see my favorite game company, that I have spent well over 100$ I'm sure on, be changing in such an awful way. It wasn't broken, so why did you try to fix it?

Purchased data lost??
