It’s so heavy

Tito (Juan)

I wish the app was lighter ... I find it so heavy and space drag... other than that great app for nurses and MDs.

Used to be 5-star

Sid_medic

Recent updates have removed the CPT search function. This was very convenient when it was supported by Athena. The customer service says that they eliminated this due to EHR filling this need however the procedure coding function built within the Athena EHR is so bad that I was forced to use the premium Epocrates to look up codes. Now I’m relying on web searches or confronted with purchasing a separate coding app.

App crashes

umnaya

New update is worse, app crashes on iPad. Do not like the design. Please fix it.

GREAT

ngreenmd

This app has been wonderful for me. Any practitioner, regardless of the specialty, is called ball to no drugs used for other physicians. This is a very quick reference to give a beginners knowledge of the costs, the pharmacology, the dosing, and other aspects of a medication. Sometimes I could use a bit more detail in the pharmacology section.

Email flawed.

Squellcchh

Sometimes it works but most of the time I can’t email docalerts. But I love the app. It just needs someone to pay attention to the small stuff.

Great App!

Cleric of Aphrodite

This is a great App! I use it almost every day for dosing and other information. It is a user friendly App that provides all the information I need in an accurate and concise manner.

Drug-drug interactions may not be correct

Gesundheit7

Several times epocrates lists no drug-drug interactions for a certain combo of medications, but other programs (Dosespot in my EMR, Lexicomp) DO list interactions for the same combo. I no longer trust epocrates to check for drug-drug interactions.

Excellent information source

Johnny-Boy 775

I will be starting school this winter quarter. This app was a suggestion from a friend and I’ve found it to be a great source of information as I am preparing for a future medical career.

Please allow app to operate outside of update cycle

Nope9

Today, during a critical call, Epocrates failed to open resulting in a delayed identification of a medication. While it likely didn’t affect the outcome it was unfortunate that I wasn’t able to access the information I needed until the app was able to update.
