It’s great… when it works

I’ve been using this app almost daily for a year as a replacement for my laptop webcam. The paid version worked perfectly for a few months via WiFi and USB. Then slowly over time I would run into connectivity issues: wouldn’t connect over WiFi, couldn’t find my phone over USB. I tried different cables, with and without my USB hub, restarting my phone, re-installing drivers… sometimes it gets fixed and will run great for a week or two but then the problems begin again. I wish there was a more robust app to troubleshoot issues on my computer when I can’t get a connection. Also confusing is the fact that there are two apps in the App Store. I really want to love this app but its so dysfunctional that I wonder if it’s worth the stress or if I should just buy a webcam.

It works but there is such a delay in the stream that the sound never is in sync with my microphone. I’ve tried running the usb way but it won’t connect no matter what I do. So the WiFi way connects but like 20 seconds delayed.

Purchased full app for zoom worked great until app was bought out by a different company. Have never been able to use since updated. Very disappointing that AppStore would allow this as app’s value just evaporated.

Doesn’t work with iPhone 13?

Downloaded for an online art class. It worked once. Then it never worked again. Either it wouldn’t connect to my computer through wifi or even when plugged in. Or it would connect then freeze the video. I ended up having to lower my laptop camera to use the camera on my paintings. Not worth it.

I’ve tried pretty much every webcam app on iOS. If, like me, you’re not willing to pay a recurring subscription fee for a webcam, this is the best. And the developers have been steadily improving it. I especially like that it now has background blur built in.

After purchasing this app and following all the prompts to set up. App will still not connect via wifi or USB digging further allowing all the proper accesses and firewall changes the app is still just dead in the water I have requested a refund and will not be suggesting this program/app to anyone.

Update broke everything

I’m very disappointed that The latest update crippled my web cam. It can connect however all I get is a black screen. I used to do streaming content with it and now I have to go to another camera. I tried all troubleshooting tips from the web with no success and the customer service for this app is a joke. I would like to get this fixed, but I would stay clear of this product if you want something reliable.

Just stops working after a while

Worked fine for about two weeks and then it just doesn’t. Updated everything and all you get is a yellow screen. Buyer beware.
