Awesome App..too many haters

skinoonanski

This app is one of my favorite apps. I love being able to track my daily/season verticals. I also thinks it's awesome how the Epicmix pictures get uploaded straight to my app. The UI is great and very user friendly. I really do enjoy this app and don't understand why people are so critical of it. Can't wait for the rest of the spring season, and to enjoy my Tahoe local pass next year as well.

Account management is awful

perverseosmosis

I have three passes for my family and apparently I need a different account and therefore email address for each pass? My five year old doesn't have an email address. You should be able to add multiple passes to a single account. As it is, dealing with the ticket line is easier/faster than using this app.

Doesn't work

Ifonedude

Used to work. Now it doesn't snow anything anymore. What I see on line I don't see in the app anymore. What's going on.

Used to be great, but...

Memyselfandiaremanuel

Now I try logging in and "bad request error" comes. After changing my password and confirming what my email is. The same error shows up and NOTHING I do can help. Fix this, because I've seen emails of my stuff and my app will NOT let me log in AT ALL.

Good but unreliable when on the mountains

Robertito1234

I am nine years old and I just skied Breckenridge. This is what I think about the app EpicMix: I got this app because I had a season pass for Vail Resorts. On the first day, it was working fine. Everything I saved was on the app, and the second day it was working fine too. Then on the third day, after I got done with skiing, it didn't show anything I skied that day. I felt so mad because I took some pictures that day that should have saved. So the same problem went on for the rest of the week. By the last day, I was just furious. All of the progress...GONE. I was really, really mad again when the pictures didn't show up on my account. So many pictures that I really wanted to save. But couldn't. If you have the same problem, just go on your computer. That's what I'm going to do. Finally, I'm saying to not get the app, I'm just saying the flaws about the app that were a problem for me. Still get the app. Because it is a good app and you will need it if you ski or ride Vail Resorts!

Unreliable

Tupelomike

Have used the Epic Mix app roughly 20 skiing days over the past few years, and it has worked on a total of about 2. It shows "no activity/statistics" on most days. No idea why it doesn't take - I've activated the lift pass, and it registers me, but then doesn't show that you've been on the mountain, and has this obnoxious message saying essentially "you have a pass, why don't you get up on the mountain you lazy sack?" Insult to injury.

Fun app

Govtom

This is a fun app to see how many lifts you've taken, how many vertical feet, not only today, but for the season and even lifetime. I don't use most of the features like lift line times, etc. my family all really likes to compare the stats, very fun.

Rarely Works as Promised

Jeneeks

The server and network issues kill this app. I haven't been able to see updates since February! I consistently receive the "Cannot connect to network" error. I also wish you could dive back into individual days from past seasons. Tracking is also relatively accurate, but on many occasions I've found my vert calculations ended up way off what friends or family had when we had skied every single run together. Two stars because when it's working, it's good enough, but large app downtime is inexcusable.

Won't open

BT-CO

This app has never been perfect but it would provide me what I needed (emergency numbers, etc.). Since upgrading to iPhone 6 - I can't even open it. Sad.
