Wonderful

Nica Soko

I played all the routes and each one was great in their own ways. The storyline was amazing and addictive. I happily paid to play the routes(although it wasn’t required). Was so sad that I finished them all because I want more!!!! Play!!!! I promise you will love it!!!!

Interesting

I bought all four characters. After reading them all I think the thing that impressed me the most was the detail to the world and the heroine’s backstory being both impressive and intriguing. (OH ALSO! If you pay $$$ for storylines they have a bug. All you need to do is go to restore and enter your password. The storylines load then.) Shiba (Werewolf) Shiba was the person I was most attracted to as his looks and style most appealed to me. I also liked that the first thing he did upon meeting the heroine was defend her. His romance part was my favorite story as he is cute and dorky. However, I was unimpressed by his lovers route. For some reason it seemed mundane compared to the romance route. All in all I give his story is good. Romance Route: 5/5 Lovers Route: 3/5. Nagi (Invisible Man) I sincerely appreciated Nagi’s kindness and the support the two gave each other as the story progressed. Nagi’s storyline and future give the romance route an interesting spin and his lovers route is interesting as well. I like that his story reveals the heroine’s personality and past naturally. However, his story is a little bittersweet so it may not appeal to everyone. Romance route: 5/5 Lovers Route: 4/5 Ray (Vampire) Considering that they didn’t do a Twilight reference I guess I have to give them credit for that. (Lol) I was pleasantly surprised by Ray’s story. I expected it to be entirely vapid considering his obsession with beauty but at points it was cute and kind. I’m not entirely happy with the fact that he still calls the heroine a possession at points but the storyline makes a point about this so I won’t touch on it too much. The way they deal with the heroine’s personality is a little rough but makes sense in the end. All in all decent story. Romance Route: 4/5 Lovers Route: 4/5 Natsume (Mummy) This is the story I am simultaneously most offended by and most impressed by. The relationship constantly teeters on the side of dangerously abusive at points but the underlying storyline manages to make you look past it. There is also some attempts at points for Natsume to fix his faults but I think the issue needs to be pressed more considering how dangerous the thought pattern is. I fear what people might think of relationships if they come to accept Natsume as being a standard. Your boyfriend saying that he’ll kill people close to you is a big warning sign that he may be dangerous. I think they broach upon this a bit in the lovers Route but not enough. However the storyline is intriguing and this obsession is my only complaint for Natsume. Romance Route: 3/5 Lovers Route: 4/5

High Quality, Easy to Play

ClearSpringDay

Ephemeral has a really cute storyline, with four playable characters that each come with two 10 ch. parts and two endings, so a total of 24 chapters per character. Each of the two parts has 5 beautiful CGs!! (40 total high quality CG to collect :0) The visuals are just stunning to look at, and they vary the backgrounds and facial expressions a lot, so you feel involved. The layout of the game is clean and easy to follow, and you have the option to play for free by getting points each day to unlock chapters, but if you can't wait you can buy the stories or have the option to get more points through watching videos, etc. through tapjoy. I decided to play all the characters but start with Shiba, and there were just so many cute moments and moments that made me laugh; I won't say which though, don't want to spoil it ;). Overall I like how the artwork is one of the best I've seen, and the chapters are a good length (pretty long not just a couple minutes, but not more than ten minutes). The storyline is interesting, good character development. I noticed they fixed the translations in the story! Unless they were always good and it was just the character descriptions in their profiles that had a few errors. No mini-games to worry about, just you and the story. I look forward to seeing more works from Hunex! Edit: correction 5 cg not 4 for each part. Sound is also a very great feature and fits background.

Great

LilliaSnowy

Great but I wish that once you finish a character you can see the bad part too.Other than that it's a great time killer and I really enjoy it.

Pretty good game.

Puppyishy

This game is good, I really love the music, and the art and story is quite unique. I don't like the fact that you have to wait to get coins and play it but I guess is okay, and I expect this to be more of RP game but it looks more like a novel as you don't really do interactions and there is only 2 answers when you do get to say something.

Emphemeral no signs of loading

Ok ok ok..... This game is funny, cool, and interesting. But just 1 or 2 weeks ago I was trying to login into the app, but it's not even loading. It's just pitch black. I don't know if there working on it or not, but I just wish they notified. Or.... Maybe because of my iPad.... But I wanna finish their story, so please fix the app.

I love it!!!! <333

Love this otome game I really do. Maybe a few typos but nothing bad. I really enjoy the game and its characters. I also really love the option to switch your answer in order to unlock the normal and bad ends. That was a nice touch that gives the player free range play. I love the extra lovers bit I also love that each day you get coins to unlock the chapter. Its fair and it makes the app that much more enjoyable. My only problem is that I wish they made more datable characters! Like maybe an Erica route or Robin route! Anyways, Thank you for making this game!! ^^

Ehhh. Okay.

Art 10/10: The art for the characters and background details were gorgeous! Music 10/10: I love it when there's audio! I know some people don't, but it can make a sad or fighting scene feel more intense. Translation 2/10: It was readable to an extent, but it was still somehow awkward. For example, the way the main character (you) expresses her frustrations is like "what you said, how rude!". Probably not the best example, but Idk how to put it in words besides the translations can come off as dull or monotone, lol? I've actually seen worse, but the errors were definitely enough to distract the reader, and it took away the potential and sophistication the story could have had. STORY 3/10: Okay...so the story had so much more potential. The plot to the story was interesting! I only played Ray's story, but from what I could grasp from reading his story is that the main character (you) is TOO weak and naive. And by weak, I mean she has some super low self esteem or self respect for herself. Most of her dialogue was just "er, ugh, or eh", lol. She's the type of girl to fall in love with a jerk, and still want to be with the jerk even though he treats her like poop, lol. It's literally to the point where she is willing to do anything to be by his side just so he can want her. I get that Ray (guy candidate) is weak to pretty girls, but to become super depressed about a guy not wanting you because you're not pretty anymore or not pretty enough, he is NOT worth your time, lol! Of course, he ends up loving her regardless of her physical beauty, but for the main character to seek validation of her self respect and securities through only him, it just makes her look weak and it's kind of a twisted way to accept yourself. It's as if you have to have him accept you in order for you to accept yourself otherwise if he doesn't, then you're just super depressed. The entire time I played the main character, I was annoyed, and I get she was raised in a secluded area to be so naive, but for the average person she just sounds like she has no standards, too many insecurities and issues to me, lol. Overall, the character/story development and the characters themselves needs more work, but I do like the plot! Would I recommend?: No. There are better otome apps out there that carry more depth to their story and have stronger characters with great art and music! However, I may give it another try with Natsume's route because it's been favorited by a few others (probably only if I have nothing left to read).

Love it!!!!

Muffin160

I love this app so much! But to be honest I was pretty sad to see it end soon, I kinda want some longer episodes and even more episodes. In fact some things felt so skipped to me, like something was happening and then in the next episode it was a whole different plot. I'd love to replay this game if there are some changes!

Translation really needs an update

Yuna_desu

The game is great don't get me wrong. The story is mildly interesting, the artwork is simply beautiful (<-- which is a word they really need to learn how to spell in this game instead of beaty, along with refuse instead of refused..) I'm sorry but the translation really puts down the whole game. I really hope they have an update to fix this.
