Grab your hook & shield and descent as Enyo, the greek goddess of war, into an ever changing labyrinth to recover 3 legendary artifacts.
ENYO's gameplay is based on the idea of indirect combat. Enemies can only be defeated by pushing or pulling them into burning lava pits or deadly spiked walls.
While staying accessible through the limited amount of actions a player can take, the core of ENYO are highly tactical turn based battles. To enter the highscore leaderboards for each of the 3 game modes you are tasked to master your weapons and create powerful chain combos through clever maneuvers.

I remember back when mobile games where fun and didn’t have adds. The art style is pretty neat and unique, the theme is super interesting and different, and the gameplay is easy to pick up yet hard to master.

It claims it is highly tactical and stuff but in reality it is a very easy game. The only reason why it may take time is because the give you NO information at all, ZERO. Everytime you want to try or test a new strat you have to die. This isn’t tactical, this is just experimenting until you succeed. Nevertheless, really nice art style and game mechanics. I would actually praise the game if it would offer info about the enemies and still manage to be highly tactical as you put it. The only challenge about this game is to guess if the new enemy you face at the next level will be stunned by your jump and other stuff like that. Not my cup of tea.

If you take a look at my game downloading history on the App Store, you’ll see a never-ending catalog of games that I’ve tried, of varying complexity and type. This game, however has stayed on my iphone through at least three different device changes. I just keep playing it. It reminds me of chess, with the different players having different abilities, and each move causing reactions and possible danger or advantage. It manages to be quite simple and quite complex at the same time. I hope this game continues to be around for years to come, and I would support and purchase a version of this game for my laptop if it means that I could keep playing it over many years. Thank you for making this wonderful game, and keeping it updated :)

Deceptively Difficult

ENYO is a deceptively difficult game. Even on normal difficulty, I haven’t gotten past level 7 or 8. But the difficulty doesn’t come from RNG: you always know what the enemies are capable of. It uses spacial reasoning in a very fun way: you have to position yourself just so to get the enemies into your attack range while keeping yourself protected. In terms of art, it is superb as well, evoking ancient Greek pottery while still keeping its own distinct style. It knows exactly what it’s going for and executes its idea perfectly.

“Strategic, beautiful, addicting. Only mobile game I regularly play.” -> that was a review I had evidently started typing out years ago when I was a teenager. It’s still pretty true. Years later this is the only game on the App Store I’ve never gotten tired of. I love the simple but challenging gameplay, I love the art. It’s an old friend.
