Streak Counter is Broken

smZz88

Great application scheme, but the streak counter is set at 0 even though I completed 2 sessions consecutively, one day after another.

Presets are not what you’d think

JFDC36

I bought the pro upgrade for $2.99 and then found out the presets are not for a set amount of meditation but for a set time of day, unlike on the very other app. Also, the wheel used to set the time of your meditation is annoying, compared to what most apps use.

Painful sound that won’t stop ringing.

The default sound is ear piercing and for some reason when I was testing it out it wouldn’t stop even when I deleted the app! I had to restart my phone to shut it up.

Lovely, simple, unique app

The free bell tone is nice--not too high or annoying; the design is minimalist and pleasing; and--most important to me, for my own needs--the count-doen timer has an optional setting that allows the user to see only a circle "disappearing" in a clockwise motion, and no numbers. That isn't actually important to me for my own meditation, but I use it during my work with children (who either don't understand time or generally get fidgety about *time*)--the simple circle option is even calming for then. I'd get the paid version (& likely will anyway), but the two features I'd want added aren't (unless I'm missing something) provided in the paid version: (1) the ability to separate, or just even delete, certain "sessions" (so that my work-related use isn't counted as my own meditation use), and (2) the option of three bell strikes at the end of session (which is typical of the meditation I practice). Again, though, great app!

Nice and simple app

The app is like a meditation timer, you set the time, and that’s it, then the app keeps track of your meditation, simple, easy to use.

Buggy. Presets don’t work

Mangoobyt

I purchased pro version. Created presets. But when i enable a preset it does not get applied. Looks like the app is released without any kind of basic testing.

lovely design, missing some simple bits.

I love the design. - Upgraded thinking that longer mediation times would be an obvious addition. My bad, they're not. So, unusable for longer sittings. - If you have a longer session with intervals, there's no way to know when you've completed a session with intervals without buying additional bells (at 99 per, and none included in upgrade?) The bells are nice, but I really don't like them all, and many aren't different enough to tell when you're coming out of a deeper meditation. NEEDS A DOUBLE OR TRIPLE BELL ENDING OPTION. - Also, a relatively minor thing: presets don't load into the current "set timer" page. So, if you've forgotten that you have a preset on, and go by the set timer page, you will NOT get what you're expecting. - So it's pretty, but hobbled. >> Later addition >> One thing that would be hugely useful: ability to "chain" presets, so a given preset (or given presets) could be set to start automatically in a specified sequence. This would provide considerable flexibility.

Love it!

I really love this app because it is simple and effective. It is easy to change the timer and remove the interval chime. The chimes are rich and soothing.❤️

An Old Friend

I like this timer because of the ease of setting different times and the pleasant bells. If you meditate for an hour or less it is a great alternative that let's you keep your focus on the meditation.

Not ideal

nattysauce

I love the simple design but the fact that the timer will stop if you receive a text is maddening. Whats the point? I have to stop my meditation and check to make sure the timer is going - what a stupid problem for an app to have. You had one job app! Be an effective timer! I guess ill just use my phone time.
