Enso is the best Meditation app out there!

This app is super cool! I've been trying to get into the habit of meditating and have tried some of the popular apps out there, but this one has worked the best for me! It had a great, simple design that is very easy and intuitive to use. Update: They've added Health integration now!

Perfect

This app has become integral to my yoga and meditation practice. It's simple, intuitive and perfect.

Great, simple UI. Lacks Watch integration

One thing that would make this app a 5/5: Apple Watch companion app. Great app otherwise. Developer is responsive to feature requests - I've paid for both the pro upgrade and the additional bells to support ongoing development.

Perfection without subscription

Have been wanting a beautiful, simple meditation timer that syncs with HealthKit for awhile– but all the contenders were focused on upselling a subscription to their guided voice meditations. I don't want to be guided, I want to sit in silence, and Ensō delivers beautiful silence in spades.

Perfect!

I don't give 5 stars so don't let that throw you - a great meditation app! Free features are more than sufficient - intro, interval and final times kept in a cool interface! Love the progress tracker too. 128 sessions, 51+ hours!! Woot, woot!

Great app!

I use this app everyday. Simple and easy.

Exactly what I was looking for

I wanted a simple meditation timer. I love this app because you can pick different sounds to suit your attention's needs, and what really sold me was the option to choose interval bells. I use this every morning and night. I use headphones if I really want a deep experience. Very helpful to my daily routine.

Good, but could use improvement

In general, I like it. I like the clean interface. Good sounds. Feels a little pricey at $6 for premium plus all the bells, but I wanted the Apple Health integration, presets, and more bell options. But the presets do abolutely nothing, as far as I can tell. I've read the FAQs. The timers on the Set Timers screen are *always* how I last left them. Presets have no effect on them whatsoever. Toggling a timer on in Settings doesn't change them. And setting the time window for a preset for it to be automatically enabled by the intelligent preset feature does nothing. It's kinda maddening. Also, choosing a preset shouldn't be buried in Settings--it would be much better to have it quickly accessible, right there on the Timer tab. I've used the app 6 times now, and it's worked fine for all but one sitting. That one time, I heard the start bell and then...nothing. I had it set for a 20 minute meditation with a 10 minute interval bell. I eventually stopped my sitting, checked the clock and realized it had been 32 minutes. Checked the app, and it wasn't even running. And it had no record of my sitting. So I guess it just crashed at some point after the starting bell. Developer doesn't appear to be responsive: I've submitted one question (about the presets), one feature request (add option to allow start/interval/end bells to ring more than once), and one bug report (above), and have received no reply, and not even an auto-response. Zenso looks to be the best alternative for me.

OK. But some free ones are better

I'm a free man

I want to App, Because I thought it had a cool looking interface. Sadly – I need to at least put step one review here that doesn’t give this glowing ideas. If you forget to set your phone on airplane mode – and you receive a text or phone call during your meditation – the timer will pause and not resume until you notice it and change it. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been sitting for an hour meditation – and I thought I was finished – only to look at the timer and see it paused 10 minutes into my Meditation. Also – once you buy this – you still get nickeled and dimes for different add-ons Like the bells. I lost a few bucks on this app, but I did learn a lesson here. I should’ve stuck with the free app all along

All the features but logging

It is an "individual" based app
