This app focuses on 100 long vowel words, such as shape, wheel and fruit.

Each of the 20 fun and interactive levels use a multisensory approach to learning. Children see, hear, read, spell and write each word to reinforce learning and develop a range of essential early reading skills.

Each level consists of 5 words and a revision set.

The app includes a variety of rewards to keep children motivated including badges, 20 critters to hatch and a fun reward game. Children will love learning to read and write with Eggy Phonics 2.

The game is great. The reward is horrible. I have eggy phonics 3 and my learning disabled granddaughter loves it. She is successful and plays the reward game and scores very high on it. She can't wait to do it every day. Eggy 2 not so much. Yes she can play the game but can't figure out how to get the reward game to work.you have to get three in a row but you don't know how to do it. I can't figure out what the heck they want you to do. She just gives up which is a shame. Why make a reward that is frustrating .
