I would actually like this app if it had better support for the iPad in landscape mode. It makes things very difficult when you cannot view the way you would a laptop.

No 1.25x speed

No iPhone X support, no 1.25x video playback support. It feels like they are using one of those crappy cross-platform frameworks for app dev.

Videos not working, even after bulk downloading

5/8/18 Now working on my second full edx course and just updated the app to no avail in regards to being able to view the videos or any text associated with them after downloading - arrrgggg!! Stay with the desktop version until they iron out this bug.

I chose to use my Microsoft account when I created the account on the web site. However on the Apple app that is not an option. The reason it is not 1 Star is due to how much I like edX. I hope it gets fixed soon.
