Works great easy to use

Sign in required every time

Update: the app forces me to sign in every time I open the app, thus deleting all the downloaded videos, which is incredibly inconvenient when you are in the middle of nowhere and don’t wanna waste cell data. (That’s why I’ve downloaded it via WiFi in the first place.) Previous review: love edX! But the app, not so much (sorry!) The most annoying part of this app is it lists all the courses you have taken & is taking in the same page. I would at least like to have the option of viewing only the active courses that I’m currently taking.

Education is the key to success.

I strongly recommend EDX. It’s is one of the first pioneers for free education. Well based program and if you have complains go back 10 or 20 years in time and wished you had this opportunity to have the most accessible free audited education you could think of.

...should’ve come with a warning...!

Great app, great service...but: I enrolled in a class with 12 weeks of content that claimed to be self paced on 3/22. I paid to get the certificate and when I entered the classroom I see that I actually only have 9 weeks to complete the certificate bc the course ends 5/31. There should be some sort of warning before people throw away their money. Like “warning, you are enrolling late in this course, you will have to work through 12 weeks of work in 9 weeks, are you sure you can commit to this before you throw away your money?” ...I would’ve audited instead or waited until I could start with the full amount of time.

It is easy to use. There things that they can make better like the discussion platform, but it is still good.

Free courses and lot of good stuff

Itzsree

Lot of good stuff to learn with no fee.

Limited

One of the biggest reasons I would like to use the app for learning, instead of the website is for offline capabilities. I am currently going through a course right now and only about 20% of material is actually available offline

Going back to learn from web browser

This is the best online education available today. Thank you for providing an education platform that not only promotes learning and collaboration, but keeps those who want to learn out of crippling debt.
