When it worked it was great

Can’t keep the darn thing online. And the battery won’t charge when it is offline. So now it automatically turns off “to protect the battery “ because the “battery is low”. SO IF I CANNOT KEEP IT TURNED ON, IT WILL NOT CONNECT TO WIFI; AND SO IT WILL NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY. PIECE OF TRASH!!!!!!! ZERO STAR REVIEW!!!!

Works great every time. Takes a bit to understand how to work with it. The instructions could benefit from an update. All in all our family(strangely our dog also) like this product.

I had other name brand robot vacuums in the past but this has better options and a better cleaner.

Map always messing up.

After about 2 weeks at a time of using it..the map randomly gets confused about where the charging port is. It moves it to a different location and I have to reset the map and remap it. This happens every two weeks and is so annoying. Should have gone with irobot.

I LOVE my Deebot vacuum and all the app features are great IF it works properly. It took several days to get my house mapped out. The map wasn’t saving in my app when it said it was complete. That was about 2 months ago. I’ve been mostly happy with the app ever since, except for sometimes the robot thinks it’s on the second floor map and can’t return to the docking station. I have to turn off the Deebot and manually set it on the docking station to get it to relocate. My MAIN FRUSTRATION right now is that after getting my main floor map adjusted with all the areas in my home just right, the map has somehow taken some of those areas and combined them and also separated areas into smaller areas. This messes with my scheduled area cleanings. I like to be able to choose a specific area to clean and now I will need to go back in and separate the areas again. This has happened a couple of times now. Frustrating!

Can’t get past User Agreement

Like every other one star review. When ecovacs forces you to update to the new ecovacs home app, I can’t even get passed the user agreement. Without access to the app the robot won’t charge, so now I can’t even use it mannually. I contacted customer support, and all they could recommend was deleting and reinstalling which obviously did not work. So many people complaining about the same issue, and yet nothing from ecovacs...

Error with accepting Terms and User Agreement

Used App previously with no issue. Today there are new Terms. Accept or OK does not respond. Exit and Reject does work.

Robot never connect through my app. Even when I have contacted customer support they were rude and know help. Waste of money as far as I can see.

Getting around “Please Only Divide Selected Area”

The error tells me nothing of what I’m doing wrong. I know many with this complaint and cannot get their home setup. Room labels are way too limited. 1 bedroom 1 bathroom and no hallway. You need custom labels preferable that works with smart speakers. Need map backups Need to take some lessons from iRobot. If you haven’t looked at their software yet, you would be embarrassed! Vacuum hardware is good. Happy with it except for the software shortcomings

Let’s start with the mapping, randomly cleans areas while skipping other areas. Doesn’t follow the original map when it fist mapped my house. creating Virtual barriers is a joke in the app. It’s either squares or rectangular barriers. No way to rotate the barrier, for instance if a piece of furniture is caddy cornered you have create multiple barriers to keep the vacuum from going underneath it and getting stuck. Suction power is decent but not great for picking up pet hair on rugs. Goodbye ECOVACS Deebot 901; HELLO iRobot Roomba i7+.
